@@Skhufu How long have you been using it in USA ?

I got it second hand and I have not connected it to my guitar yet. When I got it I took off the back panel first to see what it looks like. It didn't have a power cord and one of the tubes was burned out. The fuse looked like it needed to be changed. I noticed at that time that 5 amp 250 volt was written on the on off switch underneath. I put a new 6v6 gt tube and a new fuse. The cord connection is three prong and I bought a new cord that fits in perfectly. But I'm not sure if this amp was made for the US market. Other than what I did to it the amp is nice it's very well made. When I got it I wasn't given any history on it it looked nice and I bought it cheap without knowing anything about it. It's a nice amplifier and I don't want to damage it by improperly using it. I don't know how to add photos to show what I'm seeing.

The OD-15 is based off a 15w Fender Deluxe style circuit played with a Peavey ceramic single coil loaded Strat. Not a lot of bass going into it. I was trying to show the chime sound it gets without sounding harsh. Hook up an Lp and set the EQ for thicker sound it will get a good bass response. BTW, the compressor kicks in an makes get that country clean. I do have other demos of the OD series with LP and PRS style guitars that get great thick sound, you just gotta search through the videos made early on. I stopped making demos of OD and HD series once the HandWired series was released as the #2204HW and #1987HW became my “go-to” heads

@@wangsamps you need to crank it up otherwise it sounds like sh*t. Google how Plexis work. Bridge them and crank it to 7 or above.

Ah…I understand now - yes, this is true about a Plexi which was the point of this video. A Marshall with the settings I use in this video will sound weak indeed. But with the Wangs it still keeps a good solid tone with the settings below the recommended settings for a Marshall. I understand it is below the edge of break-up point of the bridged setting above 7 but I’m getting a very good clean sound (I always use a jumper to run it parallel)

For Metal it is. It has a trim pot inside the enclosure you can adjust overall gain. Lots of filter options. But it is specifically a metal pedal

​@@wangsampsI took a job a while back as an engineer on a MASSIVE project, and it killed my time to do pedals. I'm about to finish up this project then I'll be full swing with pedals again. I did use all this "downtime" to design a ton of new circuits, so when I get going again I'll have a ton of new stuff. I knew working these 70-80 hour weeks wouldn't give me time to fill orders fast enough, but I'm dying to ramp up again. I'll definitely hit you up!

@@wangsamps thanks, bro! If you saw under the board, you'd really flip out over how I mount all the dual gang concentric pots to the board. They are all soldered to a daughter board then the daughter board is connected to the main with ribbon cables (or it might be individual wires, I did that for the first few) If you try, just be warned it's a pain to line it all back up again lol the one you have was an earlier version and I was using the much more shallow 1590bb enclosures. I love their smaller size, but I now use a 1590bbs which is about twice as deep.
