The 7th Guest Intro
Просмотров 45 тыс.14 лет назад
Intro sequence to the 7th Guest. 1992 original edition for MS-DOS.
Yes this is the original PC version, it’s not glitchy
Does anyone else think Stauf looks hunchbacked at the part where he’s carving the doll?
Originally, that game has a girl's hidden room. You can find it on the map of the game menu :) When I mouse-clicked the fireplace in Sutauf's library, it looked like a passageway to act as a warpgate, but the room did not open easily.. Whu ~~
outstanding occult knowledge
haunted by it to this day...sinister beauty
I like the heart beat and violin to the clock...lightning strike...virgin / trilo outstanding occult knowledge
The best

One I secret of this game teach . Though portion that have a conversation of impression that woman is dirty aside to man and bad glare that is not woman portion that do Giching in bed from portion that explain passing story for residence is appeared, qualification to do genuine Ending is given !!
Anyway, must rise and move for a time to 2 layers through stair as is nimble if move in residence beginning game to become acquainted with lurking wicked woman that game. After have solved restaurant cake puzzle, woman's voice is heard unexpectedly and there is possibility that confrontation is begun :)
A comment chain so stupid, not even an AI could write something like it.
for those coming back for nostalgia: did you know there is a book about the game? for me it made the story that much clearer (not having finshed the game, getting stuck on the maze).
Yes, I read the book a few years back; it provides a lot of information about the characters that you can’t get from the game. It’s lying around my place somewhere, I should read it again sometime.
I had this game and played it with my Dad, the pc version of the Virus game is so hard now :(
IDdQFd.... Er, Df?
one thing is for sure, the music is good in certain places...over the narration of the intro is not one of them. :(
I thought of that too. The music in the intro was too loud, kinda interrupting the narration. I'm one of the few who prefers the cd-i version of the intro which had no background music
I ALWAYS thought that from the time I first played the game. I would play the intro many times to try and figure out what was being said in full.
Foltest is a beast
I had this as a kid. My mom helped me get through some of the tougher puzzles. The maze, virus and coffin puzzles were such a pain.
awesome, i loved playing this game as a kid
THE BEST OF THE BEST Este juego uno de los mejores, me encanto su historia, su musica, inolvidable
omg memories !!
Man, people actually took this game seriously and thought it was scary?
+Max Payne Scary, no. That was just a great game 23 years ago and people who played it at this time still found it great. The story, the voices, the music, the puzzles and the house were very well made.
when you're 7 it was pretty intense
You also have to remember that at the time of its release, nothing like this really existed or was still in its infancy.
Wait, this is a horror game?
Dunno about horror, but its a scary story type. Its a first person puzzle game
I always wonder, if Stauf just built that mansion then how the hell did the ghosts settled there?
That music. Holy shit. Memories.
Amazing game, Amazing Plot, Amazing Intro, Amazing Music! Under rated now that those "youtube reviwers" who are self titled "experts" can't apreciate this game and like to bash it
Was given this as a free game when purchased with the CD-I system back in 1993....unfortunately the CD-I system (which was basically just a DVD player before DVDs took off!), was short lived as nobody really made any discs to go on it in the UK, but for the time we had a CD-I, me and my family all had a go at this game. I was about 7/8 at the time, and I wasn't as creeped by it as I am now (I'm now 29!). So many memories of this game(-and endless trips to the library as I was too young to understand the puzzles...solved a couple myself though!).
Sorry, my friends, but I need to be the bearer of bad news to you. YOU WILL NEVER SEE A STORY AS UNIQUE AS THIS AGAIN. NEVER. Sorry
Totally agree!!! Those were the times...
That intro STILL gives me the shivvers up AND down my spine.... iiiiicch... Miss that game
Gog.com has this game for modern PCs!
awesome sale too
Machiner6 steam has it for cheaper but it has DRM so go GOG
the Steam version doesn't actually have DRM, not for this game
lol I still have this game, and 11th hour too. To bad there are nol onger systems available to run them on. I've tried it once with a mounted windows home edition, but it just won't work.
You can get 7th Guest on iOS. Also DOSBox
The games are in the new Humble Bundle~ $9 for both plus more games. www.humblebundle.com/
Nr1from1978 GOG has them DRM free for ~6 USD
I have The 7th Guest on my Toshiba Laptop. I play it every now and then. Look online, you can download it somewhere, but be careful of viruses lol.
I actually decided to play it today with my mom and I saw that I had gotten it off of Steam.
There is no possible way
one of the best games ever! ♥
I love adlib.
I know what you mean!
that one line always creeped me out, never sure why.
Which one line?
@@JoJo-zx9sc actually there was 2, the "Welcome to my.... house" and when finishing a dead end on the maze "Feeling loooooooonellllyyyyy" Always loved the old man stauf poem though in the library
from the same p'lace you go't your apostr'ophes
where do you think myst got it's ideas?
i still have the book and the game if anyone wants it
This game was so creepy back then... especially the blue-screened actors... ok i have to admit...i was a young kid and "humans seen on computers" was not usual
im planning to buy this card with i5 2500 ... could u plz tell me how many frames per second ure getting ? ... i realy want to play this game on ultra settings with stable fps n smooth gameplay .. no ubersampling ofcourse
I remember flipping out when i saw that "skeleton hand" cursor! xD!
He's crazy...sick...and MEAN!
Feeeeelllliiinnng looonnnlleeey!?!?!?
If only I could make exact copies of what I see in dreams. the best I can do is sketch them out on paper or write about them in a diary.
Impossible to have now: It's obsolete, like 101 Dalmatians Escape from Devil Manor.
It would be nice to have these old comp games re-released.
you may want to know that it's on steam and i can personally guarentee it works.
Oh man... this brings back so many memories. I need to find my copy again, 'cause I used to play this so much when I was little. ; v ;
lol, the intro music to 7th guest reminds me of people's court. Judge: Counseler? Counseler: Yes, Judge? Judge: Are you on drugs? Counseler: Drugs? No, I don't take drugs, your honor. Judge: Well, I don't like your attitude. Counseler: (What else is new?) Judge: And I'M HOLDIN' YOU IN CONTEMPT OF COURT! Counseler: (Well, there's a fuckin' surprise!)
Um... that's My Cousin Vinny. Not People's Court.
This was one of the best games ever made for PC. It was pure genius! They should remake it.
They did
@@passionpain953you’re talking about the VR version, right? I just found out about it.
Seeing this brings back memories :D Cool game back in the day!
