RBR Directors Cut - Uncut Scenes
Thanks for all the great feedback I got after releasing the trailer for the RBR Directors Cut plugin. We got over 10k views in one week. This is a nice achievement.
For this reason and to fill the gap until the release of the plugin I decided to make an uncut version of the trailer including deleted scenes with pure FMOD sound.
Directors Cut is a camera modification for Richard Burns Rally. Watch the release trailer here:

Hello, I have a problem. I haven't played for a long time, this week I tried to play but I couldn't The launcher starts but when you click on "launch RBR" a black screen appears and it returns to the launcher
I didn't play for a couple of months then tried again yesterday, like you, exactly the same thing happened to me... I solved it by updating the game, using the 'Rallysimfans_installer'
Please visit the discord server of RSF. There are very nice people willing to help. Your issue sounds familiar. I am sure there will be a simple fix for it.
What a rad editing job. I have always loved playing rally games but I have never tried RBR. I have heard a lot of people say its the best rally game ever created. Physics look good, sound is amazing and the car models and tracks are on point.. I have to try this game now lol
the car movement and suspension look so so damn good. this is what ea wrc is missing.

Hi. The plugin is first and foremost a camera mod. It does not change the graphics and works mainly in replay, except the freecam. I did not test it myself but people said it works well with openRBRVR.

Great stuff! I have been willing to see a replay camera that fully controllable for years. This came out and job done.

Is it possible to Remake this game with Raytracing remix. Path tracing and things like this?
Not yet cause RBR does not work with fixed function pipeline. But who knows if some kind of similar or some generative technology might bring for us.

La visuale interna con la prospettiva dello sguardo va gestita col mouse?
I have no clue if translator did it's job correctly. You do not have to use the mouse during the helmet cam, the cam will move automatically.

Amazing! Is this then only usable in replays or also while driving? I am amazed by the camera targetting the track ahead in driver view! This could help people with single-non-wide monitor setups like me who need to compromise between FOV and at least seeing a bit of a tighter corner or hairpin ahead.
It is currently working only in replay mode. For racing you can maybe consider to try out trackIR.
@@misterarek4136 Head tracking with opentrack unfortunately seems to have negative FPS effects in some stages. Known issue. Thanks for your answer nevertheless! Great work!

I always had the dream to download dirt 2.0 but couldnt buy it. Then this game RBR came in @GPLAPS notification. I watched some and found it full free. Here I am, cant drive with my wheel, still learning, but happy that this game has fulfilled my needs. This game has got more attention and love than any game imo.

How do you make the sim look THAT good ? Like .. wtf how do you guys do it ?
Pick good car models and stages. Set graphics settings in RBR on a maximum. Run high resolution. Set high bitrate and 60 fps during recording. That’s it. No more magic needed.
