As genius as Omar's drumming here is I can only wonder how he thinks about his playing here being now 7 years later? I love this, if not just awesome to listen and watch it is incredibly inspiring! 😃💖
fantastic tune, never gets boring. Omar, together with Steve Ferrone, Steve Gadd, Gary Husband .... one of my absolute favorits.

Omar and Manu are different in the way they play a groove for me Omar has that air in the pocket which is him all over no one can do pocket like Omar both fantastic players though
Carl Peel Omar probably has a bit more of a funk sound but both were/are super creative players who has similar paths back in the 80's/90's.

Jetty 1502 My pops got this tape for me and another from the Memphis drum shop. I used to take lessons there as well I kinda fell outta music for sometime now and just getting back into it.
