It feels both like a quintet and like a big band ... not sure how they do it ... beautiful.
Cheers & Kudos to Gard Nilssen & André Roligheten. Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Stan Kenton, Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Carla Bley, et al, are hearing this and listening closely. It would have been wonderful to have heard the brilliant Mette Rasmussen as a featured soloist here.
Thanks! Agreed. That song with Mette playing duo with me was cut from the record, but please check out her amazing solo on our latest album "Family"… if you know her playing you shouldn’t have a problem to find her sound in there:)

the guitar needed to be cranked higher , no offense for the drummer or the bassist that did an awesome job , but thats how it is people need to hear the guitar luoder than the rest of instruments
