FDR was such a POS. Antagonizing Japan with their oil embargo & moving the entire Pacific Fleet to Pearl Harbor to give them a reason to attack, those are just 2 of the 7 actions FDR did to get Japan to attack & to draw America into the conflict to fix his horrible economy.

Holy shit. I’m so glad they did a remastered version of this. I watched this over and over again as a stoned teen since my local PBS station would play 2 episodes a night at about 2 am. It became foundational to the way that I understand the world (mostly with a lot of rolled Rrrrrrr’s). If anyone watching this had a similar experience and wants to do a rewatch podcast hit me up.
