JH is such an Incredible talent....this song he co wrote with John Lodge is a perfect example of how his songwriting, vocla + musical arranging, vocals and guitar work were so central to the overall sound of The Moody Blues.

"originally from Venus" ...am a professional Astrologer so my thinking is "that" way.. I used to have a "Moody Blues" radio show for 5 years.was a "DJ." I picked a theme then chose songs out of 17 albums = all Moodies and solo albums from the Moodies. I would go over astrological charts for each on your birthdays and play only those songs written by the "birthday person." Everyone loved my program... "Positively Moody Blues," radio show. Have been to many many concerts....many. Bless you Justin. Your high consciousness inspires us all. I love it that you've been married for such a long time. How fortunate you two are.!!!!

At 75+ I remember receiving the album as a birthday present from a friend in 1971. The album has been a keepsake for all these years.

I’ve loved the Moodies since I first heard their songs on the radio. That was before we had other forms of media like RUclips. I think that for most people once they hear the Moodies’ music 🎶 they don’t leave them.

In 1968 I was back in Miami at college listening to this on my AM Radio station, WFUN. The 62 Impala that I owned had a reverb in it and the rear speaker was in the impala emblem in the middle of the back seat, what a sound, an echo chamber, miss those days, I was 19 at the time.

My favorite Moodys song. I used to think what a great tune but too short;...I've grown to just love it over the years and its probably the best opening song of any show ever written.

Whatever we thought of them in the privacy of our home stereo (as good as we could afford then), they were a real rock n roll show, Live. At home, I poured over them as my stereos got better & better. I bought everything new, from Days to Octave & Blue Jays and Ray Thomas', From Mighty Oaks. I have The Anthology 2CD set for the later MBs hits, plus their DVD Hits. Quite a band!

So odd. I haven’t listened to this song in years. I’m 66 and have some hard times in my life for several years. Death and destruction every where. I got off a phone call and literally said aloud breathe deep the gathering gloom. Just popped into my head. So i looked it up. And I’m still crying. I’d like to be young again and fix all the things that went so wrong. Save the people I love that left way too soon.

I’m Really Really Grateful to Have Been Able To Get To See The Moody Blues Play Live At The Holiday Star in Indiana Years Ago And It Was A Beautiful Show And Time I Had Because Of There Music from ( Days Of Future Pass ) No Pun Intended Here In Regards To All The Music These Very Special and Talented Artists Created For Us To Enjoy For The Rest Of Eternity On This Earth ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The cold-hearted orb reminds me of the orbs from "Phantasm." I also saw an orb in my dining room one night. About the size of an exercise ball. It was swirling like gasoline does in a water puddle. It was freaky.
