I can't find those Lowa tibet wide in the UK or anywhere else to order them from. We only get the regular width version. I see they have updated the boots with an EVO version. I saw the the Lowa Tibet gtx on sale for £150 wish I had ordered them now as they're £200 now. Not sure if they're wide enough for me though. Just ordered a pair of Alfa berg advance gtx wide. Had a little problem with the sizes. A 43 turned out to be an 8.5UK and the next size up is a 44 size 10UK. They don't have a size a 9. Had to return the 43 and get the 44.

correct me if I am wrong but these boots look less stiff in comparison to desert elite...? Am I right or do they have the same level of stiffness in a sole and upper shoe?

Nice advertisement. BUT Lowa boots are poor quality! I have a pair of Lowa hiking boots, and last week while hiking in Norway the soles of both boots started to fall off within 15 minutes of each other. At the end the soles were only attached at the tip of the boot. The problem is apparently caused by a natural degradation of the polyurethane material that Lowa uses in the midlayer of the boot. So by using an inapropriate material (for hiking once or twice a year which many people do) Lowa are purposefully building degradation into their product. And they will NOT repair or replace your boots, only sell you new ones. Do yourself a favour and find a serious boot manufacturer. I'll newer buy Lowa again.

Any review with Yellow-tailed black cockatoos in the background is a winner in my book ! Just bought a pair of Tibet Wides to walk ~800km along the Camino de Santiago next year. First pair of Lowas I've owned - I've had nothing but Scarpa SL's for over thirty years as I need a really supportive boot. Scarpa doesn't make the "BXX-last" anymore and the standard last won't fit my broad foot. Will be interesting to see how the Tibet Wides compare to my old Scarpa SL's in the long run. Pun fully intended.

I average around 250 km per year hunting elk . I have a pair of these that’s 4 years old . I’m replacing them this year . They have been a great boot

How are they fitting true to size? Not easy to find somewhere to try them on, maybe there's somewhere in Melbourne that stocks them.

I find LOWA boots to be very well made and have a superior fit to any other brand that I own. LOWA boots hug your feet just right for miles of walking with no concern for blisters.

Always go a half size up from the mondopoint for boots that you intend to use for trail hike or longer distance trekking because your feet swell. Also the difference between a size 12 and 12. 5 UK in Lowa is only about 4mm. Not much in terms of foot comfort.

In LOWA Europe they explain, "... that is normal, that the sole after a few years dissolves. Crumbles apart". There was neither an offer of a new soling nor was interested in finding another solution. Therefore never again LOWA.

Anyone have problems with these cracking in flexible spots like where your toes meet the rest of your foot. I have gone through 3 pairs of the LOWA Zephyrs in the past 2 years and that's spot always ends up cracking in no time if rain/mud is involved at all. I am a wear my boots all the time kind of person and am in the forest for work 5 days a week. They definitely are the most comfortable boot ive ever worn but it only takes 4-5 months and they are no longer waterproof due to cracking.

Again the soles are tame . Lowa's problem , put a hanwag trapper top sole on them theyre a different boot , cant get a better boot ? 😂😂😂 guys dont review if you havnt spent time in all of the boots , i do , trust me a nice upper doesnt make a great boot , for once hanwag got it right with the trapper top gtx
