Practical constraints on hardware limit the benefit of super-directive dense antenna arrays for massive MIMO. In our work, we specifically focus on the impact of the matching network and the beamforming hardware on superdirective gains. Bijit Kumar Das these are 801.11ad communication devices that are also repurposed to operate as a radar. The transmitter and receiver are not co-located but I would not say it is MIMO radar.
