The ! and the massive numbers of items in storage means that your frequency of clearing out the warehouse is not enough, i.e. you don't have enough trains to move the freight. The trains also have long routes with little freight and that is why some of them are running at a loss. The overhead of running the train is more than the income. You can either write that cost off against the city growth you getting, or changing the routes to shorter ones to make the trains profitable. Your big income comes from passengers and mail. You can increase most of those lines to two as there are a lot of passengers and mail waiting at your stations

On your train between New Orleans and Pensacola. It sees that New Orleans needs meat so it will take it up to the corn and back. What you need to do is to mark the train leaving Pensacola to the corn, leave with empty wagons and only pick it up on the way back

And another comment: The more shares you buy the more likely it will naturally be that they bid on your shares. To reduce the frequency with which they bid on your shares, you need to focus down one of them each time. Once you have completely bought them out, they cannot participate in the auction anymore, meaning: They cannot start bids on your shares.

The money is going down because maybe you own shares from a Big-5 guy who is currently in the negative with his/her balance. Also, I advise you to first get all your "un-owned" shares from your company to have maximum boost to your influence s.t. that you can basically always stop the biddings on your owned shares. It never makes sense to "re-buy" a share in the auction that you already own. Always cancel biddings on shares that you already own. Be it shares that originate from your company or from an NPC, which you own. Otherwhise, you will just bleed money for a share that you already own. And money loss hurts more in this minigame than influence loss because you will almost always have enough influence to cancel bids on your shares and thus have enough money to participate in auctions for shares that you don't already own. :D Ah, and for shares that have an initial bidding value of 1M+, you can use your influence to reduce the likelihood of the NPC bidding high numbers. Sometimes saves up to 4M.

Are you even looking at what the Labs need in the nexus? Their Greenhouse option is not fully fullfilled. So it might be an idea to put the green house right next to them?

Small hint for the stock market system: Don't bet everytime someone else bets. Only bet once the timer has gone down to like 2secoonds. Then AI is less speedy in betting on the auctioned chairs & with low cooldown is less likely to bet. Meaning: You get the shares for lower prices in the auction. Not always the case but often enough that it benefits you.

And if you don't like quests: Accept them and immediately decline them because in Anno 2205 there is no negative consequences to that. :D Like this you get new quests faster.

In terms of production: You want to completely fill the Tundra with as many workers & aerogel productions as possible to be able to provide the boost modules also in your other regions. :) I've gone through this game with record inhabitant numbers at that time (2019, I think it was) and I wished there was more Tundra Regions available. :D Also: I cheesed the world market. xD

Both Anno 1800 & This are about fine-tuning & optimization. And it all kind of started with 1404 with the Noria Exploits & the introduction of items. However, specifically how you play it, it always requires you to re-adjust the whole chain, which I personally find entertaining! It has a Factorio vibe to it. :D There is probably one mechanism or let's call it "way to play it", where you always immediately put modules with your production buildings. Such that for example, you will not be needing to adjust stuff for workforce later down the line. Yes, it costs money & ressources but if you put upkeep reduction modules for the more expensive buildings very early on, it will reflect in your credit balance later down the line such that you can basically not care about money in the slighest. Also: I really suggest you sell spare Oxygen Bottles regularly. By far the easiest money you can make via trade in this game.

For your Kansas to Denver clothes problem, you should just mark the clothes as the priority items and it will take clothes instead of cloth. If you just play normal, then your requirements will be filled according to the list of goods n order t0 meet demand. So as long as the cloth demand is highest, it will always take cloth, unless you change the priority of a good, by opening it on the train and clicking on it to get a green tick. A settlers bonus and the an immigration office at 30 000 population helps growth a lot

You need to build the industry when you "found" a city. That way you can have full control. Always try prevent the AI from building an industry. A couple of points: 1. When you click on a train, select the three cylinders just below the magnifying glass. That will tell you if your train is efficient or if you will need more trains as they are not moving all the wagons. 2. Check on the left top under the goods. You will see how much the farm/industry produces and also where it is delivering. Add up where it has to deliver and see if your delivery meets the demand. i.e. every town need a percentage of an item, so count as 1. If the have three citied connected, you need 1 a week, i.e. 4 a month. To meet that demand, you then have to deliver 4 x 4 weeks to meet a monthly demand. That is 16 per month and you need to see if your train can deliver 16 of that item. If it is more (where you e.g. produce planks), you just do the maths 3. The money you make off express trains depend on speed and time. Do not run your express lines through goods stations as it slows the trains down and you lose money. Build a by-pass around those stations so that your express trains can run at max speed. 4. If you can, always run goods and express separate. Express makes money and goods builds the cities to generate more passengers to make more money. That is why you will see that most of the big players use and express and a goods station. So even if you share a line, let them go to their own stations. You can then set up restaurant and post offices in the express stations (just remember to put maintenance every second station). Post Offices also make more money as mail generates more income than passengers. In the good stations you can then have maintenance and warehouses/dispatch hall's. You then have a better control over the flow of passengers and mail and your goods.
