Yes I have been driving like this for a few years now with no issue. it is weird when you notice it first.

If you fit one yes it does. I've just fitted a Bosch AGM 95ah battery to my Giulia.

you don't, just start the car 2 times and every errors goes away

Hello I did have it fixed. I had to bring the car back to the dealership - they were able to drop the gearbox a little to gain access to the drain for the air con system. there is a little rubber drain in the climate control system (under the pollen filter) that gets clogged up. All the condensation from the air-con get trapped and build up and spills into the cabin foot-well. Nice design feature !:) Some people were able to fix this issue by blocking the internal vents in the car and turning the fan on full speed - in some cases this pressure had been enough to unblock the drain over the gearbox. But in my case it was a visit to the dealership.. Best of luck!

Yes the spark plug had broken in the engine! Once the spark plug was removed a new one was put in. All good.

5 years on the battery is not too bad :) the replacement is not to bad either. Just have to watch the knuckles. Cheers.

​@CathalCoolkirky back at it with another battery replacement just about a year later! Not as bad this time around, but didn't expect it to happen this quick. Has a 3 year warranty so hoping it is just the battery. Thanks again for the video refresher!

Hi.. does not apply on the Giulia. On some cars like some BMWs you need to program a value from battery to car.

@@CathalCoolkirky I was able to do it successfully last weekend! Definitely wasn't the easiest because of the tiny space and the wires but I did it managed to complete it and save myself $300 :)

@@CathalCoolkirky Just a note: I did have to go through cycling the ACC mode on/off 7 times then on the 8th time lock the steering all the way left, all the way right, then center then turn it off to reset lights. This is only because my friend that was using her car to save my settings had to leave lol

Hello - yes I removed the carburetors from the car and did a full rebuild. I replaced all the gaskets, jets and springs. I had the carburetor barrels cleaned (ultra-sonic cleaning). It took around 3 days to do this but it was not to difficult. If you take plenty of photographs as you work you will understand how to reassemble again. The car worked perfect after. Best of luck!

Hello.. I have been back to dealership under warranty a few times and they tell me this is normal. I had a loan of a new Giulia from dealership in June 2023 and it also had the same noise! Other cars I have test drive did not have this noise. I've been driving my car for 2 years now and have this noise and she performs very well.... I'm thinking this is a Alfa thing... ( I've only driven Alfas for 25 years!)

Boy that clamp down bolt on the right side can be a pain!! Finally used a pc of duct tape to hold it in the socket. An engineering ooops!

Hello Pablo - yes I fixed this problem. I had to replace the ECU and Throttle body from another car. This part is easy to replace. But I then also had to replace the 'code box' under the steering wheel. You will also then need to replace the 'chips' inside your keys to match the code-box. Not a very difficult job just awkward under the steering wheel. I hope you can find some good units on eBay to replace. Cheers T

Ciao .. se il motore non è stato avviato da 15 anni, rimuovere tutto l'olio. Sostituire tutti i tubi di gomma. Sostituire il liquido di raffreddamento / acqua nel radiatore. Rimuovere e pulire i carburatori. Dopo aver immesso nuovo olio nel motore, girare il motore con le mani e non con il motorino di avviamento. È un buon enegine e penso che sia facile da lavorare. Divertiti!
