Great! I love it...❤❤
I loved this Thank you! If I was in Satellite Beach during the parade, is there a public park or something on the Grand Canal we could take our lawn chairs to and watch the parade?
Hi Kirsten, I post announcements on Nextdoor and Facebook with instructions. Basically there are some streets in Satellite Beach that dead-end on the canal on which the Boat Parade travels. Here is what I put in my announcement: Park on one of the streets in Satellite Beach that dead-end on the canal including Skylark Blvd., Port Royal Blvd., Jackson Ct., Anderson Ct. or Canal St. There is parking on each of these streets. Let me now if you have other questions.
I missed it 😢 it's ok I can watch it now thank you and merry Christmas
That's the idea Wendy. It's on RUclips forever now. I hope you enjoy.
@SatelliteBeachLive I did indeed can't wait to visit Florida in the near future
@@wendywhite1181 Come on down. Lots of people do, especially when it's cold up north!
Thanks from Germany
Glad you had a chance to watch in Deutschland.
A triumph for all concerned. Even the moon played it's part. Thank you @SatelliteBeachLive
Well, we had a little problem with rain, but the boaters persevered and we had to tolerate some blurry cameras at times.
@SatelliteBeachLive the raindrops on the camera added to the magical experience 🙂
NICE 👍. Thank you SBL for covering the Parade and bringing it to my part of the Globe 🫡
Thanks Mitchell. Much appreciated.
Nothing short of outstanding was this boat parade. Many thanks for hosting this wonderful event.
And great Moderation FLGurl!
Hello
oh dear!
Yes, well said. Never heard of them bothering people, but I have heard of some run-ins with dogs.
Well, this was very interesting.
To be fair, she had spent a bunch of time taking care of the nest. I am sure she could have found the fish on her own!
@@SatelliteBeachLive Probably so, but still it was interesting and even more so that you caught this on video. 👍
Beautiful time lapse
NICE 👍
The movement and colours, mesmerising 🙂
You forgot erosion issues
Hi, What do you mean by erosion issues PeterDurkin?
Well I lived in indian harbour beach in the early 90's and erosion was a problem then
@@PeterDurkin-z1x Do you mean beach erosion? That is a problem!
I can’t see its head real good but I believe that’s a croc.
Wonder how long they live? Maybe this is same one we saw when we lived on the canal 35 years ago!! Kids and dogs were playing in the canal and my neighbor saw the croc coming so we got out of the water quick and watched it glide by! Guess he was looking for a mate! Sure miss living in Satellite Beach!
It's definitely a crocodile.
The croc living his best life
very nice
I vote croc... Hopefully everyone will leave it alone and he'll move along.
No petting please.
Why is the water rising ?
The water rises because as the hurricane passed, winds came out of the nouth. Winds out of the nouth blow water down the Banana River into the canal system and cause it to rise. More information than you wanted probably.
Good that the boat was made more secure. Yikes.
Wow....Good thing you got a boat😅
Stay safe! 🙏🏼
que lugar lindo, uma pena que tenha que enfrentar tanta tormenta.
I could watch this over and over again💗
Glad you are enjoying it! It's wonderful in person.
@@SatelliteBeachLive I hope to embrace it one day
You missed talking about Lake Shepard...
Yes, you are right about that. Lake Shepard deserves it's own video!
I used to lay out on that beach and get some sun back in the late 70s hardly anyone on the beach during that time
Cool vid thanks
I recorded this tornado i sent it into several diff news stations.
Nice. Did you get a good look at it?
This is great! Superb job!
Thank you for the tour. I love it.
What happened people car a1a ❤
Yesterday raning yesterday night running early today 💦🌪️🌩️🌧️
3/4/24 I just want to say thank you for this live stream. The birds and all the other live sounds keep me semi sane during the dreary cold days here in MN. Honestly I am not sure if anyone else has this on their television as much as my husband and I do.(Its kinda of like our live screensaver) I have to admit you might hear me scream with joy each time I see the dolphins playing in your canal. I appreciate your channel so much.
Glad you are enjoying @kellykohler8407!
NICE👍
Thanks go to my step-daughter who works at the Cape! Good to hear from you Mitchell.

Is that necessary to install, maintain, and repair our satellites necessary for international communications? Or will it prevent all human attacks from sharks, gators, crocs, venomous snakes, and the constrictor snakes? Or will it greatly bring down the cost of living and greatly lower our fuel prices 🤔 Maybe it will get everyone more active, healthy, and involved in fitness activities. Maybe it's necessary to repair all lousy roads & the potholes? Perhaps it's gonna end obesity, all crime, the fentanyl and border crisis? Maybe it'll do all the above 🙏🏻
I would kms if I ever made a facebook boomer type comment blaming all the worlds problems on the rich
@SNTNLFox The filthy rich, the famous, all those who truly should know better, the greedy, selfish, shrewd, cunning, manipulative, capitalistic bullies, thugs and devils. 😉
CooliO 👍
Great parade - thank you!

COOL
I like that you have Ed’s Heads on your thumbnail!
Hi Caren, I have not seen him around recently. He used to do his thing at the Squid Lips on Eau Gallie Blvd when my wife and I would eat dinner there on weekends, but I have not been there for quite some time now. I was thinking that he would do an interesting interview. Is he still around?
They are such little attention seekers!! And I LOVE the Queen tune!
Thanks for live vids of the canal! However, we ain't into pop tunes like that. Especially that queen tune.
Very happy I watched this. How's the water for swimming? Are there sharks, gators or crocs? If we had a house there or went camping on that island is there any chances of a gator might be there? What about venomous snakes and large constrictor python type snakes? Would you please recommend any inexpensive/affordable RV campgrounds nearby there? Are there 25m-50m lap swimming pools and waterparks nearby? What about tennis courts/centers ? How'd that area fair from the latest most recent super heavy rainfall we had? It looks like that entire area would be flooded out and completely devastated after a hurricane?? Thank you again, keep safe & healthy, God bless 🌞🌳🌲
Hi @Hundert1. People do swim in this water in summer, but it's not especially clear like the Caribbean. There are no sharks, except babies, but there are occasional gators. Sometimes a dog gets eaten, but I have never heard of a problem with gators and people here. If you went camping, it it unlikely you would see a gator, since gators like fresh water, but it's possible. There are fewer venomous snakes than most of FL, but there are occasional water moccasins. I have never seen one. No large pythons! I have to plead ignorance of RV campgrounds, but I am sure Google could find you some! There are no water parks that I know of nearby, but of course, there are many in Orlando with all of the theme parks there. There are local tennis courts both private and public. The rain does not affect us much. The ground is sandy and porous so water drains quickly. Even after a hurricane, water does not stand in ditches for long. Happy to answer any other questions!
@SatelliteBeachLive LOL, no sharks "except babies."😅 Don't the babies grow up to become full-size predators, though? Thanks for your thorough and prompt response 👍I hear some friends of mine are now doing a paddling training camp around there. I think in, at or right, near Indian Harbour Beach. Not sure where they're staying, though. We use the super thin, long, tippy race type kayaks. The protected, flat, peaceful, wind free, wake free waterways are ideal for canoeists, kayakers, and crew rowing. It's especially possible to capsize with these type boats, and I'm scared to be grabbed by some kinda creatures 😅 We have relatives living in Naples Florida, but they're golfers. I also know a guy who has a fruit farm in Citra. I think that livestream you have is a fantastic idea. I only saw the one with the beautiful Christmas Music though. I thought you had several cameras covering all around the waterway areas? How do we watch those? Thanks again very much. 👍🌲
@@Hundert1 Just to clarify on sharks...the sharks, like the red fish, tarpon and other big fish only live in the canals and Intracoastal when they are young. When they get big, they go out into the Atlantic, so we don't worry about sharks in the canal system at all! Regarding livestreams, there are 3 up right now that you can see on the channel home page at the top. Here is the URL: ruclips.net/user/satellitebeachlive One is the Relaxing Christmas Music and Scenes, one is the Eau Gallie River and the other is the primary stream which shows rotating cameras on the Grand Canal in Satellite Beach. I did have a weather livestream with cams up during the summer, but when the weather turns cold here, the weather gets pretty boring, so I took it down for now. I am always interested in observations from viewers, so any suggestions are welcomed!
@SatelliteBeachLive That's very interesting regarding the sharks & big fish. How do they get in there to begin with? Do their full-size parents swim in there just for giving birth, then immediately return to the big Atlantic? If so, there's a chance the big parent might wanna grab a nice meal. But I'm very glad to hear y'all feel totally safe from being attacked from any big fish in there. I remember one year a week or so before Christmas I drove to Bradenton FL to visit a tennis camp. I was the only one who went swimming in the pools. The locals couldn't believe it, even though the pools were heated. They said it's so cold. I'm told em y'all gotta be kidding me. I explained I'm from New York and compared to our winter it was warm and so comfortable, why not go swimming. Thanks again for your efforts. I'll check out your video link. Best
@@Hundert1 I have to plead ignorance of the mating patterns of the sharks and big fish. I do know that I have never heard of any sharks in either the canals or rivers, but there's probably a blurred line between where the rivers end and the Atlantic begins. I also know that there are small versions of those big fish that get caught by fishermen that live around here.
