After looking for it I don't know if I can say this version is 100% better what with some of the unavoidable dead air, but there are definitely parts that are nothing but improved without 6black mumbling over the other's harmonious vocals like a toddler with a microphone. Great job on the edit!

this is ass tbh. i'm not even talking about the "racial motivation" behind this. 6lack's part itself added so much to this song, it served as a beautiful complement, and the fact you COUDLN'T EVEN SYNC elton and 2D's vocals to this version make it simply unbearable to listen to.

Honestly, ive always read mirror man as a character with NPD. He doesnt actually have a very high self esteem (something common in NPD, believe it or not), so he relies on others attention and praise, which he gets through his appearance. It also fits with how NPD forms, since its a traumagenic disorder, the line "they turned me down, now I live my nightmare, gotta be seen by someone out there" really fits. I dont know much about NPD myself, but from what i know, this appears to be a fairly accurate portrayal of the real experience from people ive talked to who have the condition. I just think it would be an interesting interpretation.
