Great shots and editing danny. Stepping up your game each new video. Love this adventures with beautiful environments just outside crowded Tokyo
Gosh missed it danny. Time difference sucks😅
@@ravurmovie haha 😂 😆 het is lastig want meeste kijkers zijn Amerikaans dus
So did you sleep on the street 😂
@@peaceweapon1933 haha 😂 no never said anything about spending the night 🌉
Leuk! Goeie vid!
Thanks Jolene! Alles goed? Hoe is het leven als juf?
This is such an interesting list! Also your script and descriptions of the differences and historical reasons for the culture is great! 😌
Thanks Tanner! Glad you enjoyed it let's both keep them comming!!!!
Ao(青)is also used as a vocabulary like "青い野菜" meaning fresh vegetable, which actually is green but refer as blue vegetable.
Oh really that is cool I also heard that sometimes for people who are inexperienced ao is used like green behind the ears, instead of well green ofcourse. Thanks for the comment! 😜
Very interesting!! I wait for part 2!!🎉
Ehhh! So much pressure I am sure my girlfriend does not want me to crumble under the pressure of making a part 2. But we'll see
Love this! I live in Shizuoka right now and was living in Tokyo for two years before. There are always so many things to discover new! Thanks for the Inspo 😊 Have you been to Shizuoka before?
@@kiraku_ni yes I have been to Gotemba great shopping mall over there 10 out of 10 recommend. Stayed in Shizuoka with my family a couple of days when they vosited Japan great place ! Wonderful nature. Thanks for the comment
Tokyo is huugeee… what about the air quality? It seems like everything is super clean as well.
@@randyschild6436 Tokyo is a city on a completely different scale. A true astonishing view to take in. I’ll say the air quality isn’t the best ofcourse hahaha and in summer definitely killing. However it will be the cleanest big city you’ll ever see. No garbage cans but amazingly the streets are clean
Alright I bookmarked this video cause these are great looking places for hella cheap. Now try to spend a day cheap in North Korea.
@@TheMangaSloth haha that would make an interesting video free places to visit in North Korea, luckily Japan is a great country too let me know when you come here!
Ah this takes me back to a trip I made to Tokyo a few years ago! Yoyogi park is super cool, as is the Tokyo tower! You can see it for free, but paying to go inside for the view is certainly worth it! I remember going to that temple in Yoyogi park, but I had no idea about the history, or how busy it actually is. I never made it to Shibuya, but I want to see it one day. I would add Akihabara Electric Town to this list! Lots of great anime and game shops and window shopping to do! :) Great video my man.
@@theboldbasan3802 yeah Akihabara is great! But since I went walking everywhere too much to fit in this video hahaha! Love the suggestion though! Thanks for the comment, if you ever come this way contact me we can do a lil adventure side quest !!!!
May i know what time you in Kamakurakokomae station? Before 8am?
Yeah I left my home around 5 o clock to walk to there and I think I arrived around 7 o clock. So yeah it was pretty early 😅
is Enoshima Island suitable to visit during the winter (Dec 2024)?
I persona think it’s a great time to visit and this is mainly because of the fact that your chance to see Mount Fuji will increase a lot! In winter Fuji tends to be more visible than any other season. It’s also a lot less busy, so you have more personal time to enjoy the surroundings. Now it will be a lot colder of course, but it rarely snows in this part of Japan. Hope it helps!
@@DannyJapanny thank you so much for your detailed info. That really helps ;)
@@marietteong1818 another suggestion would be to combine your trip with a visit to Kamakura. I also made a video on that place if you want to check it out, no pressure. Although I think it’s best to do them separately you can combine them easily though I just like to take my time! Have fun on your trip!!!!
Great video man, glad I found your channel! I’m moving from Sapporo to Chikuma in the upcoming weeks so I really appreciate this video thank you!
Oh wow I loved Chikuma city and kind of miss it a lot lately. I recommend checking out all the onsen. My favorite one was kami no yuu. It’s cheap and they recently upgraded the changing rooms recently. It’s a lovely place you are going to enjoy it!
Also I recommend going to a restaurant called shichifuku don’t know how to write it but they have the best Oyaki I ever ate and ramen also really good I’m excited for you! Have fun 🤩!
@@DannyJapanny thank you man! Looking forward to trying it. Gonna be a big change moving from the middle of the city to the country side haha. If you haven’t already, do please check out Sapporo someday. Great food and people
@@xthunnini yeah it is definitely high up the list. I really love the countryside and want to find a house in Nagano prefecture in the future. Good luck to you!
Beautiful Beautiful place, I need to get my ass over there so we can hang and I can see all this cool stuff
@@jhoek922 I agree 💯 awesome place to visit and close to my home 🏡
@DannyJapanny haha, yeah tbh I am trying to get braver
Japanese schools have dedicated nutritionists crafting the school meals. America has lobbyists who convinced Congress to declare that pizza can count as a vegetable in american school cafeterias.
@@noseboop4354 the meals are so healthy, I have to say though I wouldn’t know about the situation in the USA myself. It’s important that we give good food to the children of the future!
Kyushoku is 給食。 虚飾 is Kyoshoku. Anyways 頑張ってね、ダニー!!
Haha thanks you are the third one to tell me😳😂
Man the character for kyūsyoku/school meal is 給食 instead of 虚飾 (kyosyoku) that actually means something along the lines of 'ostentatiousness'😂😂😂
@@Yoromeki_kuzure haha yeah my girlfriend told me it was wrong, since I’m not that far in my kanji studies I just look up things online sometimes the internet is wrong, can you believe it😳😀😂😝. Thanks for the comment!
Super!
@@leondelacroix yes I think camping in Japan is the best thing you can do! In a few weeks I’ll go again
production quality getting more professional by the day, keep the videos coming
@@therealumutk thanks man that’s so kind! I am trying new things for sure! Happy it gets noticed:)
Amazing video!!! As a Japanese, I consider Enoshima island as beautiful place. I now know more about interesting story 😊
Yes it’s awesome!
Ako, you’re so pretty!!! ❤️
I came to Japan from South Africa. No two countries could be more different in virtually every aspect. After a year, I lost 20kg. Then I started to become more organized, less aggressive, and miraculously my mathematical ability went through the roof 😅 I regard this country as a life changing and life saving influence on my existence that I couldn't possibly forget even if I wanted to. I know about the bad things too, don't worry - but the good things are just so good...
Wow glad to hear someone else finding a similar experience as me. Good to hear you got les aggressive I think people here in general are not aggressive as I have never seen a fight in Japan.. Just out of curiosity are you still in Japan and could not agree more that the good things are so good.
You don't have to say goodbye to Netherlands 100% - there's always Huis Ten Bosch near Nagasaki if you miss home lol.
@@phillydisc9708 haha that's true definitely on my list to visit one day. It's however a bit far from here. Maybe a good holiday destination 😎. Hahaha great comment thanks 🙏
Hi danny need thumbnail designer at cheap rates?
No thanks I make my thumbnails myself thanks for the offer
We stayed in a hanok (traditional Korean house) in Seoul and we had to sleep on a mat on the floor. They gave us these pretty hard pillows filled with wheat. I ended up rolling up a couple of hoodies to use as a pillow. Could not get comfortable those 2 nights.
I can imagine that. I must say although I am used to sleeping on a futon now. I have a bed. It's more soft. Sleeping on the futon for a long time did however help me with my back problem. My back stopped hurting. I still want to go to Seoul one day. Hope you had a good experience there!
@@DannyJapanny that's good it helped your back! Apart from not sleeping well the Hanok was amazing. We stayed up late drinking beer with with other guests (all Koreans). I would definitely recommend Seoul. Plenty to do and easy to get around. We would love to visit Japan. Once our kids are old enough to enjoy it we will go. Great videos by the way. All the best!
@@Wi11i4mJM Thank you so much for the kind words. Hope the videos help you out in some way shape or form. I would recommend Japan to everyone. Thank you really I appreciate the kind words! And ofcourse I hope you get to enjoy and visit this amazing country with your children in the future.
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our loved ones again! :-)
My opinion from everything I've seen is that there are almost equal positive and negative aspects to being over there vs here. I love that over there they value things I feel Deep inside I wish I could value more things that would definitely help me to grow. However I still have a difficult time with individualism to collectivism, I think it's important to have your own opinion, maybe not expressing it so much but having it. Idk I'm still very in the middle, the societal shaming is the biggest no for me from the east but the individual Narciso is my biggest no from the west. Sorry just letting out some thoughts
No I definitely feel like you are saying some wise things. Having no opinion is very hard to get around since at some point the people can get over as dishonest or you don't know if they are telling you their real thoughts I think that's more it. I would say that the nature here has made the most difference in how I feel😊. Thanks for the comment Justin
Great and insightful video! I believe there is no right or wrong culture, the only correct state is the state of balance. And even balance have to be disrupted from time to time for better change to occur. That's just the nature of this universe. Having said that, everyone has a place (the best place they can ever be) on this planet and I hope you are finding yours in Japan.
@@goldenmoonhorizon4086 thank you so much! I think that it's important for us to search where we are most happy 😊. I think for me I can say I live a more balanced life where the highs are higher and not so many lows😁 really thank you for the awesome comment!
Japan obviously did good for you danny. You look energetic and healthy. Japanese people are very respectful, polite and so hygienically (clean). Those where my experiences. And communication is sometimes a bit awkward specially when not speaking english, they somehow try to ignore you haha.
Haha I would say you are correct 💯 it can become awkward very soon. I also found though that people who try are usually very open to talk 🦜, but don't really go in dept
When I go to Japan can I just pay you to be my tour guide please!!!! LOL im serious.
I think we can figure something out! 😉. 😁 If not it would be cool to do manga shopping together 😀 let me know when you come

Going out camping like a true dutchie, looks like an amazing spot!
Absolutely amazing place 💯 recommend
Leuk man.

Miss Tokyo alot. What a mesmerizing city. Even tho i just seen some parts of Tokyo my favourite districts where, Shinjuku, Roppongi, Ginza, Akihabara, Shibuya and Odaiba. I was proud I visited Sony Scej PlayStation headquarters.😊
Tokyo is great the sheer size of the city is almost mindblowing. Too much to explore. Soon probably some more videos of Tokyo's nature a thing that many people forget 😱.
It was a fun day out, let's do it again some day!
Yes sounds good!
The sound effects in this video are great! They’re subtle enough that you don’t really notice them unless you’re paying attention, but they make the video sound crisp. Good work!
