This aussie dude removed the panel by just finger the lighter ports and lifting up and back and it came right out
Danng man why did you connect the wires by twisting them and then wrapping it in electrical tape? You should of soldered and heat shrink the wires instead. I feel just twisting wires together isn't a good solid connection. There is chance those wires could be pulled apart and electrical tape you know when it gets especially if you live in hot climate areas they leave black sticky residue on the wires when its heated up. Heat shrink tubing of wires is cleanest way of covering exposed wires.
Hey where was the factory Antenna located?
Been fucking nice if we would have seen u put the God damn deck in
did it work with the backup camera
Quick question if you see this! How did you wire the reverse camera to cause it to pop up on its own when shifting into reverse? I tapped mine into the reverse light as well so my camera will only turn on when in reverse, but I have to manually click camera every time to get it to come up. Not sure if I needed to tap into something else or not! What I have set up is the power wire tapped into the light, my ground ran to a factory ground, and the yellow signal wire hooked into the head unit
I just installed the ilx-670 and have the same issue.
Been needing a video like this! You planning on doing any other mods to it?
Good Job Man !
