HSM Milling Test C45E Steel on a FS3MG
May I ask what CAM system you used to program this program? :) It looks very much specific to High Feed milling?
@@Robinlarsson83 its Mastercam
@@Robinlarsson83 its mastercam
@@Kurth_Engineering thank you! I'm using Fusion, I'll have to take a look at Mastercam, those moves looked really, really good!
i love these machines! Did you build it yourself from a kit or is this one build by mueller themselves ?
@@edkcustoms the mechanical parts are from mueller, the controller and electrical integration is al self made
Insane! Gotta try one off those myself :)
Top video!
Thanks!
What spindle is used on this machine? Is the same HITECHO brand?
Yes its a Hiteco
@Kurth_Engineering apologies for the trouble, actually i had previously asked you the spindle model number, I got it from you But I couldn't find it and company has not replied to my mail when I asked them. So Can I get the photo of the label on the spindle ?
@@akshaykumarvyas if you are in the usa contact PDS, they are the rep for hiteco.
rpm ?
rpm=(sfm*1000)/(d*π)

Knowing what machine that was ran on would be handy info. INSANE feed rate. Love it!
FS4MG
Its a FS3MG
@@Kurth_Engineering Looked it up. You got plenty of rigidity to move the way you are. The frame on that rig is BEEFY for it's size. It didn't look sped up like a large percentage of facebook reels trying to show high feed. Thanks for the intel.
Hallo, du solltest eine Uhr daneben stellen, das glaubt dir sonst keiner.... ;)
Mach ich beim nächsten Mal😂👌
VIOLENCE!
Its not sped up, the sfm is high though
You can tell by the way the chips sre flying that this video is sped up by atleast 2x 😂😂
Ok, IF it’s actually not speed up it is wild, like shut up and take my money! Please put some link to this tools so I can maybe buy it and test it.
Write me at kurth.engineering@bluewin.ch
This is obviously sped up
Its not! Look at the cutting data
@ its in metric not in bananas. 4897RPM x 3teeth x 0.8mm/t = 11753mm/min!
How the chips on the vice move makes it obvious that its speed up.
Does it not use coolant?
In this application no
If he would use coolant, it would be pointless to record it, because coolant would be all you could see.
I love FF mills they work so efficient. Been using these for a decade now atleast. Best roughing process next to plunge milling with dedicated plunge mill cutter and stepover. But FF is faster in my experience and easier to program. Gives a new means to Fast as Fuck Boy!!!!!!!
I love high feed milling, especially in tougher materials🤗
Was für ein beschissener Schweizer. Ihr seid mittlerweile alle Ami
Just cause you need that small radius in the corner doesnt mean you need to use such small cutter the whole way
Its a TEST!!!
@@Kurth_EngineeringHow many would you do like this before the inserts became too blunt to work properly, from Z0. What's DOC?
@@drafty0183look in the video description
Impressive, even though the clip is ran at 3x speed
Its not sped up! Its real time!
what speeds, feeds, and machine was this running on?
Look at my latest video description
More than 30$
No it’s exactly 30$!
That’s fucked. How

I really wish that I would've gotten into CNC when I was in my 20s. I live watching these machines do their thing.
It’s all ways so mesmerizing to watch🤩 its never to late
Amazing performance. May I know the spindle brand or model number used in this machine . Thank you.
Its a 15kW 24k rpm hsk63f hiteco water cooled spinde, in a fs3mg machine
@Kurth_Engineering thank you for the reply, is it the QE-2 Series spindle in HITECHO brand?
@@akshaykumarvyas29L0286135E is the exact model number from Hiteco
@@Kurth_Engineering Hi, thanks for the reply. But I couldn't find this model on the HITECHO site. Is this an older model?

What sort of repeatability are you getting on parts? General dimension of holes, flatness, etc... Obviously will depend on a lot of factors but in general
0.003mm
Hi , this is a brilliant machine. May i know the spindle brand used here and the model number please?
What are you feeds and speeds for these cuts? Looks great.
Brutal, aber geil❤
Echt super interessante Videos. Wurde Fusion als CAM verwendet? Welche Spindel ist das genau? LG!
Very nice
are you dry cutting for video purposes or in general?
For this material in general its better for toollife to cut dry
@@Kurth_Engineering I heard the same too from tool manufacturers at an expo, for solid carbide tools on steels like this one
What kind of cutting oil do you use Sir? water-insoluble? water solubility?
Synergy 735 from blaser swisslube
Impressive! Great CAM work as well. What software do you use? How's your experience with the Adtech 9960? I know that control from aliexpress, didn't know it would actually handle such speeds. What step frequency did you set it to?
Thx, its programmed in mastercam. The controller handles around 5k lines of code per second.
Impressive. What's the brand/model of the spindle?
Not sure you could have wasted more material if you tried🤷♂️
1x speed? :D
definetly not 1x

Perfecto
Shame these aren't sold in the USA, I would of already purchased a frame/mechanical and most likely been making videos my own self by now.
Wow the FS3MG is a impressive machine ! It could be amazing if you can make a detailed video about your build ! It's my dream machine for a while now, I hope one day I will buy one, but it could be interesting to know more about the limits of this machine too. Regards
