JAPAN WALK|Walking around Mount Koya, where Kukai and the heroic spirits rest
Koyasan's Okunoin... for some reason I felt like it suited the summer, so I went there in the middle of summer.
It was certainly lovely to walk through the Okunoin in the summer sunshine.
The atmosphere of the solemn graveyard where the spirits of the dead sleep peacefully is something you definitely can't find anywhere else.
But the heat and tiredness in my legs were quite intense 💧
