I think problem is that with all the gegenpressing that Liverpool does, overall team just gets tired at times and falls asleep. Like seriously most of the goals they concede comes out of nowhere. A 5 year old could literally walk right through Liverpool's defence and score. That's how much they turn off at times.

Defensive problems, cyclical problems..

From what i've seen Klopp's style involves a high defensive line to compress space for the opposition. If they don't play higher up the pitch and compress space the 'gegenpressing' phenomena just won't work. They'll have a tough time winning the ball and score and since the whole philosophy involves winning the ball higher up the pitch, their defenders normally try to catch the opposition attackers offside so they concede a lot, especially from long balls through which other teams send the ball higher up the pitch quickly and all they have to break is the offside trap. Thats the reason they concede, but klopp switched to a 433 from a 4231 to add more steel to the midfield plus like the 4231 the players form triangles on the pitch hence they can continue to show fluidity. They score but i don't think they can tighten up that defense that easily but then the whole philosophy is based on outscoring the opponents even if they concede one or two.

Defending is about being organized and disciplined. The GK plays an important role in organizing and commanding the defence especially against crosses because the GK is the only one who can see everything. Migs is a shitty GK and couldn't command his defenders. Thank God we have Karius now

Man, you messed up, you put the loss all on motivation and concentration, while all the goals came from one side of the pitch, mourinhos team defended well, but in the attack they used only one side of the pitch, Klopp knew that so he attacked on the same side because it was exposed and the other side of the team needed to cover the spaces that's why all liverpool goals started from the right side and switched quickly to the middle of the pitch where coutinho scored 2 and Benteke one, let me add that once the first goal came against Chelsea mourinho knew he was exposed so he changed the whole side ! hazard mikel Azpilicuita which in return Klopp added more attacking players on the same side of the pitch which caused 2nd and 3rd goals he brought Benteke and Ibe on the same side, it wasn't just motivation, every single goal Klopp went to his assistant which will known in analysing the opponents!
