I dont blame you for not going past the gate because that f'in quarry is so sketchy, i wouldn't mind so much if the track was worth the risk but after the little wood the lane is pretty crap and the only thing keeping your interest is the fact you are trying to stop your demise by not falling into the fence that is beyond a joke - i truly fear for the day i hear the worst and sadly, i reckon it will happen. Also the last time i was up there a month or two back the way they have wrecked pandy broke my little heart, another sanitised lane with no personality 😞

I have ridden plenty of times before the gate steelwork was erected. All day long that is a road.

yeah me and a mate cut about 6 small trees at the bottom on cefn canol a few weeks ago, we could not manage the big one so it's nice to see it has been dealt with - took us about 45mins to clear a path

hard to believe the lane at 3.30 with the big tree down has had no attention, i reported that about 5 weeks ago to NWTRF and the council - you can get under it but it's a right fight

came the opposite way just before xmas, nice to see its finally been cut back - used to be a bloody night mare, kinda hoped the tree would be sorted by now - big bugger that one

Good to see what the lane is like. I had to divert around it a few months back when I saw the TRO sign. Well done to GLASS for fighting the TRO - though I dont see how it was in their interest to do so. No 4x4 could make it up that lane so it's bikes only. The obvious question, then, is why the TRF didnt challenge the TRO. After all, we pay our membership for just that purpose.

Does your mate on the Xtrainer have any extra fuel with him on your rides? Not long got a 2021 XT and have more range anxiety than my previous bikes (350 4t and 250exc)

Think i was near there yesterday. Got stuck for over an hour in a bog/puddle as was by myself. Nice trail ride turned into major hard enduro. keeps you fit though lol

i rode up chirk and surrounding areas the other week, it's like there are no welsh riders on the trails - i was disgusted how overgrown and unused some lanes were - i travel 90 mins to get to the health centre to park - we/trail riders could really do with setting up some sort of meeting to address and co-ordinate cutting and what is effectively equivalent to deforesting of some lanes....

Mold never gets boring! Did it in reverse a few weeks ago, and it was like we were riding a totally different place.

I've walked that track with the powerlines many times. don't know the legality of that track but you can definitely get out at the bottom.

Great Lanes/Roads you boys are spoilt. Do you travel far to get to them or are you all fairly local?
