To be fair, this interviewer is asking really dumb and awful questions. I would have done the same as Anne honestly. Comparing this to something like Blake is an insult. Blake is flat out awful and ignorant. She insulted people who she represented in her movie. BIG difference.

Idk... I feel like she could've asked other questions that weren't as personal. Anne seems to be a private person, and she made that very clear that these were not questions she would answer, and the interviewer just said fuck it and kept going on with it🤷🏻‍♀️ It was so obvious Stevie Wonder could've seen it.

These promotional interviews are hard for both the interviewer and the interviewee. The interview wants to get a unique interview to stand out and the interviewee is there under obligation to the studio and has to sit through many many interviews being asked the sane questions and sine they don’t like. I must be hard to not get to a point where your dine and dint want to answer any more which is unfortunate for the interviewer that has a slot after this point. The only thing I would say is that the questions should relate to the movie or be related in someway and not be personal in nature . Ie not trying to be an exposé piece. There are many examples of bad questions as there are many rude responses, some celebrities are more obvious in their dislike of promotional interview circuits than others who accept them as part of their job. Maybe there should just be a set interview piece that is recorded that is then distributed out - but this would be scripted and sanitised which would be boring. They could restrict interviews to talk shows along with an official interview release 🤷‍♀️ maybe that would stop the mess trend we currently have.

Sometimes you get bad questions and don’t know how to answer them without sounding rude or without turning it into a performance to make the other person feel better about their misfire. “Why are you asking me this? Where are these questions going? When will talk about the movie?” <--examples of OPEN ENDED questions that require more than yes/no and what I would be thinking if I was in Anne’s seat
