Marina pulls of a vocal tour-de-force here. It takes quite a well trained voice to pull of songs like this, but to do them justice is even more challenging. Marina not only does justice to these timeless songs of the heart, she makes them her own with passion and grace. But I'll have to admit, watching the great Ruth Davies flow and dance with the melodic pulse is a bit hypnotic. Bravo all.

A true vocal artist. So much power and deep soul in 1 woman. She has lived the songs she sings with so much passion & the Love 💞 of her culture. Simply sublime.

This session went by way too last. Jinx along with his excellent bassist and drummer combine to create a delightful, swiinging sound. I love their interpretations of classics like Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom with the bongo solo was a thrill. I can't wait to hear them in person when the club opens. Hopefully it will be soon.
