I've got a friend that says he rides this down with a mountain bike. Now I know y he likes riding this trail
There's a nice trail to ride back in Ahwatukee. Park at Bursera trailhead and ride north on the trail about 700 ft. There's an unnamed(?) trail that heads west at the foot of the mountain and takes you to the housing development.

For the truly fit, adventurous or foolish, turn right at the top along the Mormon Loop and descend about a mile West, down the Mormon Trail to 24th Street (parking lot at the bottom). (I never descend the Devastator Trail and prefer poles on the way up).

I watch the videos prior to upload, but I miss that occasionally. Re-rendering fixes that. My computer is a bit on the lower spec side.

YT just suggested your channel and it looks like we're doing something similar. Love the minimalist style! Whenever I visit I new area, I wish these kinds of videos were available to scout out the trails. Encouraging to see someone else has a similar idea. Keep it up! Nice videos. I've been meaning to do captions on the videos like you've done to give more background/history of where I'm hiking. I'm in eastern AZ. Eventually I'll make it down to Tucson as I branch out. If I do, I'll reach out.

I've changed the setting to wide instead of the ultrawide that I was using a few weeks ago. Those will start in November, as I have a bunch pre uploaded. Thanks for the comment.

Cool lizard @ 00.33.00. Was that a desert iguana? They can get to be 10 to 16 inches long.
It is a gila monster, a venomous lizard.

Did you cross the river first or go the back way?
I parked and did the loop, then went to the Quail trailhead and hiked that. I haven't done Rainbow or the others that are deeper in the area yet.
