My unpopular opinion, steferine should've been Endgame. Would've been way better than Caroline and Stefan tbh.

I dont think Louis and Lestat got back together, not now at least. They’ll go back to each other for sure but with Louis being comfortable alone for once and Lestat going on tour, it wont be for now.

Claudia and Louis so far is my fav. as for my overall one, well...we just have to wait for Devil's Minion to be adapted. iykyk

My favourite villian in tvd was silas, he was the villan that annoyed me but i still loved. In TO it was dahlia, it think of all the villans, she waz the one that emphasised what the show was about " the originals" as she was part of their family, and she waz scary. Madeline My least Armand Santiago Antoinette in the book was called antoine the writers decided to change that probably to show lestat bisexuality Bruce his character does appear in the third book

The way my ranking is the exact same!!! ESPECIALLY when it comes to Claudia being on top and santiago (and the whole theatre club) being at the VERY bottom. I HATE that Claudia's gone and they better have her in the third season.

I love what Jacob has done portraying Louis. I love how even though he’s the titular Vampire they gave him a personality and made him complex and didn’t try to make him this character with a heart of gold. He can be nice and yes he loves Lestat and Claudia but he’s also selfish and manipulative but I still love him 😂❤ They didn’t make him one dimensional like in the book or movie. He’s so much more in the show. He’s my favorite character because I relate to him the most.❤ They better give my baby so much screen time in s3 even though it’s Lestat’s story because I need to see him now that he’s finally accepted being a Vampire.

I loved how u described each season but for me it's Season 5 ( at the bottom too) Season 4 Season 3 Season 1 Season 2 was the the best for me

Imma sound super cocky but tvd wouldn’t even be a thing without iwtv and Anne Rice, like even the relationship dynamics in that show started with iwtv. They’re not really comparable in that sense, like even tho iwtv started it all, the show really is in its own category and would be better compared to a show like Hannibal, which was also originally inspired by iwtv.

Iwtv is better than tvd in quality. It's far superior. Tho tvd is appealing to teens. It's a teen drama. They aren't in the same category exactly. And that another reason why I appreciate iwtv

I grew up on TVD but my biggest gripe was how the writers treat Bonnie and Kat. She carried that show on her back for a few seasons and never got her roses...Now, idk if you know about the future characters but obviously there was the name drop of Akasha...If Kat Graham played Akasha; so good!!!! I think she could totally pull it off because Akasha is featured in the Queen of the Damned movie and Aaliyah saved that movie with her stunning performance. Kat would have big shoes to fill but I think she could do it and it would a great FU to Julie Plec!

I love tvd, still do, but if we're talking about quality there's not really a comparison. The only thing iwtv doesn't have is the recognition it deserves, it's quite literally one of, if not the best show currently on TV. Everything is made with utter care, from the costumes, to the set designs, to the writing, directing and the acting. Even the adaptation aspect of it is made so the original source is respected and referenced through in a way that it ends up elevating it. All the changes have meaning and make it better instead of being there just because. The writing is superb, not a single line of dialogue feels waisted, not a single scene feels without meaning to the plot, and even though the text is flowery, it doesn't sound pretentious. The acting is out of this world, every one of the actors got their character amazingly, down to how they move their bodies, the flicker of change in expressions, the nuance in how a line is delivered. That's why most fans memorized a lot of different dialogues or lines from it, even having watched it once or twice, we remember because nothing feels like a throw away, and it's always said with the perfect intonation it requires. This not to mention the perfect chemistry between all characters, specially Louis and Lestat. Tvd, although I love it, is just a campy teen drama. It's well acted for what it is, and it has good plotlines. But comparing the two is like comparing a renaissance painting to a mildly experienced teen doing fanart online.

The Vampire Diaries is the first show I got properly obsessed with as a teen, I was soooo invested in the story and the actors, overall it was my absolute favourite tv show (still is now) and I grew up with it. But IWTV is just on another level, it's pure cinema, a masterpiece, the quality of the wiriting and the acting is insane, and the attention to detail is something that is really lacking in today's tv shows. I've been a vampire geek all my life and man, this is really one of, if not the, best depiction of vampirism I've ever seen. ALSO it's queer and diverse!!! Which TVD wasn't (unrealistically so)!!!!

Really didn't like the show, too many current day leftist ideology in it. I like the books and it's characters better than what the show portays, not to mention the that i don't like the casting of all the actors. To me nothing can beat the charisma of of the Brad Pitt, Stuart Townsend, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas.

i grew up with TVD, I've binged it several times, i've met some of the actors but... IWTV??? CINNEMMAA. absolutely peak. beautiful characters (inside and out), the plot, soundtrack, character development??? I COULD TALK ABOUT IT FOR HOURRRSSS. T-T

Interview with the Vampire is good, but the Vampire Diaries and (all save season 8) and The Originals are far superior to it. The guy who plays Lestat overacts and underacts at the same time.

I prefer Daniel's kol. I definitely prefer elena as a vampire, alot of the things that she struggled with weren't necessarily her fault, like the sire bond and losing her brother. And as a human she was too much of a goodie tooshoes

Honestly bonnezo felt forced to me. They came out of nowhere but that wasn't the problem, i felt in terms of explaining how they started, it didn't do much. I only liked them because them together was the only time they were happy cos bonnie and enzo were done the most dirty in the series. I prefer bonnie and Jeremy, they felt more pure Saying bonnenzo is better than klamille, delena and stelena is wild😂
