Using PaintShop Pro 2023 Ultimate, i get as far as drawing the line, only to discover that there is no drop down option on the vector, so there IS NO PATH. putting text on a line SHOULD be one of the easiest things to do, but Paintshop Pro has made a mess of it, and these videos are apparently missing steps because i do not even have the option of turning on any path.

Carole, I have all of your books. Corel's current ads boast about PSWP 2023 and AI. AI has not been applied to the Smart Selection Brush. Yes, it's a start, but the Smart Selection Brush has been around a long time. At least PSP now has "Refine Brush" to help, somewhat. Keep up the good work.

If you have tried troubleshooting various issues and your PSP is still not behaving as expected, you might need to reset it to default. Of course, you will have to redo all the individual settings, preferences, and workspace, but it might solve your issue, short of reinstalling the program.
