Zigatango was formed in early 2006 by a group of young musicians keen to explore the styles of Argentinean Tango and traditional Gypsy music.

Sorry, I didn't click dislike as I didn't want to upset a perfect 100% score as voted by people. Though, without trying to sound mean,to me this serves as yet another confirmation that only Jasha Heifetz and Romanian violinists can play Romanian violin music.
To really understand "ciocarlia" you shoud've lived there and see the drama behind the song. That's why a native can express the feeling better in music. However his interpretation is impeccable.

Actually this is a Romanian traditional song collected by George Enescu (the greatest Romanian composer, musician and violinist) and Grigoras Dinicu. They didn't compose it, but we owe them the revival of this song revival. Good for you, this song it's not an easy task!
