Will the US have another training camp in January 2024? I saw they had one this year and I’m really new to the whole FIFA international stuff and what the US doesn’t doesn’t do.
I know we (The US) haven't been that good at Football, well... ever. I completely understand and accept that we are DECADES BEHIND most of the rest of the World when it comes to Football. I also have made peace with the fact that they will not win a World Cup... at least, not in my lifetime (I am 41). However, I find it quite odd the utter LACK of Penalty shots the US has had over the entire course of World Cup games in history. And again, please don't reply about how the best players "create better chances, and therefore, they get more penalties, which then leads to more Penalty Shots". I know that. I DO understand. And yet, there is still an alarmingly low number of penalties called FOR the US when inside the Box. The US doesn't have a Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe', Newmar, or Haaland. Those guys can draw their own penalties. They do it with ease. Still, having watched as many matches as possible over the course of every WC since 1994, I noticed that the US DOES, in fact, get their fair share of chances right in front of that goal, or inside the box. So, why is it that they are unable to draw any Penalty Kicks? Other than what I mentioned earlier, can anyone else advise as to why this is true? For what its worth, I noticed that South Korea, and eve Spain have not received a decent number of PK.
Man that 2006 USA team should have done sooo much better , might be the most disappointing World Cup for me because after making it the the quarterfinals in2002 and having literally the same team just more experienced we shit the bed big time in 2006, the writing was in the wall after the first game when we got smashed by the Czech Republic
Poor Brian McBride, his 1998 World Cup goal has to be the ugliest goal in World Cup history. Its a nice diving header, an Iranian player falls on it, Ernie Stewart shoves somebody and the ball pitifully squirts in. No celebration, just a scuffle in the net. Even the commentator's call is bad. "Is that in? Yes. Goal." Thankfully for Flyin' Brian he would get better World Cup goals in the 2002 tournament.
Man the 2002 team was so good. If we had a prime Lando Donovan I believed they could have been a legit contender to win it all. To this day, I've never rooted so much for something in my life like i did for the US during that 3 world cups run. (2002-2010)
Banjo yeah that hand ball missed hurt. And if they had got the possible red card with it US may have very potentially won that game and gone to semi finals to play South Korea which was a very winnable match to try to get to the finals to play Brazil…..which wouldn’t have been very winnable lol, but still runners up would have been awesome.
+Aaron Figueroa Biggest mistake was putting Keller back in goal. Not sure why Friedel wasn't back (he was great in 2002), but instead of going with a new keeper (Tim Howard named the backup keeper) Coach Arenas brought back Keller as the starter who was a hot mess in 1998. In 2006 he was also awful. Keller is the worst US World Cup keeper all time, even worse than Meola.
And this is with soccer being the 5th sport in the US, barely a top 10 sport in the US in the 1990s and the 7th sport in the US in 2002 when the US was robbed of beating Germany in the quarterfinals
This was longer than I expected
USA IS FAR AWAY FROM BEING CONTENDERS BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE WORLD CLASS PLAYERS LIKE ARGENTINA.BRASIL GERMANY
No need to be put Escobar’s in this compilation
hot in here for the 2002 world cup is so tight im here for that
Jack edwards called soccer?
USA was so robbed against Slovenia. Glad they made a comeback but should have won
That jersey of 1994...it is art
i find americans commentating football funny for some reason lmao
So hot in herrra

Mi equipo preferido de la CONCACAF Landon Donovan hasta el momento el Goleador de USA
Landon Donovan tiene el record con mas goles anotados de la Concacaf en los mundiales.
You need to update this video to include 2014 and 2022. And just for fun, throw Pulisic's goal against Trinidad in there for 2018. Lol

USA is not decades behind most of the world 🤣 stereotypical
@2:44 RIP
Goal for USA 🇺🇸 Men's National Soccer ⚽️ Team Football!
I was sitting just a few rows behind the goal when Escobar scored the own goal. Never imagined at the time just how costly it would be.
Why do people feel the need to that dumb fuckin music? We want to hear the commentary with the goals, not shitty music
that 02 team was semi final good that year
Kind of sad that many years were 2 goals or less
57 77 75 - t&t Eight World Cup
Jennifer Love Hewitt - Hilleary and Morgan, Quevedo.
Im shook that jack edwards announced the world cup lmfao
the goal against algeria makes me weep everytime i watch it
How is this video this long lol
Don't underestimate the United States of America! 🦅 🇺🇸🗿

Why do people have to put stupid music to videos? Watched 20 seconds and left....

2010 was the year smh…
If USA were to advance to the quarter finals Donovan would have been on the all star team in 2010
where do you find espn commentary games

The US almost beat Germany (the Runners up), we where so close to potentially becoming finalists

The 06 team had hype but good lord that group was BRUTAL.

@@underwaterlevelz1947 The worst US goalkeeper at the world cup was in 1934.
3:05 The GK looked like he froze and died
What is the 1994 song
WERE BACK IN THE WORLD CUP
These guys played with heart back then. Hope our new guys can carry this in qatar
For this goal andres escobar the colombia was kill
USA is officially back at the World Cup in 2022. 🇺🇲 😎
Miss it 😢
2:45 The one that cost a human being his life. How pathetic...to kill someone just because of an honest mistake.
