Conte looked like God in series 1. Had an aura about him like Ciro, but killing him early in Series 2 shocked me tbh. Should have kept him until at least the last episode of series 2. He also let his guard down after stabbing one of his soldiers as if that guy wouldn’t want revenge and Conte took his eye off the ball which you feel in Series 1 he wouldn’t.

My favorite show ever. The best of any from any country any time anywhere. That being said, It peaked right here. After Conte was gone,(and Don Pietero Sr.), it peaked. What a great show.

Conte should've stayed alive and run the alliance. Then, Don Pietro would have very serious problems with fighting them. Prince's brain wasn't enough to fill the gap Conte's death left.
