The woman who screwed up the whole thing with a bunch of unnecessary dancers and a circus on stage. All that distracts from the event. Is it really not possible to perform with a musical accompaniment and be alone on stage?

That opening with the silhouette. The finger precise movement on the chair. That relaxed and strong back,the head flung back,walking down those stairs with the chair, the gloves peeled off...the punctuation of that music ...it's still mesmeric. X

Sky Fits Heaven…!! And the entire Asian-themed second act…! Just phenomenal artistry. And yet the critics hated this tour because they thought it was lacking "old-school" hits, besides 'Holiday' and 'La Isla Bonita'. The performance of LIB on this tour is so amazing, though, acoustic flamenco. Who even cares? And when your career spans decades, and there is such a wealth of material, you need to showcase the best. And she did. This is absolutely my fave tour of Madonna’s. If anything, I could’ve seen adding some more _Ray of Light_ songs like 'Swim', 'Skin', or 'Shanti/Ashtangi' immediately after SFH, like on the album. 'To Have And Not To Hold' could have been cool in this show, too. But otherwise this entire tour was the best.

I was there. An unforgettable experience. The parterre was overflowing! During Impressive Instant everyone jumped, it was amazing, there were no cell phones to film the concert and so everyone lived "the moment"! Amazing concert, with innovative lights, technologies and stages!

I'm from the UK and I look back on the Year 2000 with such fondness. She was just universally loved by fans, the U.K. public. Tabloid newspapers and magazines. She was considered not only extremely commercially successful but also critically. She was considered as being very cool! The hype around the Brixton Academy show and then Roccos christening and the wedding of the new century. She was everywhere you looked and everyone was kissing her ass. I'm not sure what this period was like in other countries but in the UK. It was a peak of fame on the same level of craziness as 1990 BAT, Immaculate collection and JML. The only difference was the stories that were in the newspapers pretty much every day were all positive. It was a great time to be a fan of M in the UK. Another thing was all the celebrities who copied her name check T shirts. I remember Robbie Williams wore a copy but his had Andrew Ridgeley on it. 😂😂❤❤H😮

Thanks for posting this, it was great to watch. She shocks me with every tour she does. You watch 1 and think, wow, OMG, what a performance. It can't be out done, then you watch another concert of hers, and wow, OMG...........She is amazing!! Been a fan since day 1 of hearing her. What talent.......................

Pepsi did actually air it last year finally, and even credited her talent and basically apologized. Which was nice. Madonna posted the video. Her sense of humor is amazing, seriously she makes me laugh so much with her puns and jokes. The letterman award thing was funny. I bet she would be so fun to hang out with, or even just to relax and chat with about life. Also, I remember watching the VMAs live that night and Courtney love interrupting Madonna's interview was not even really a big deal until years later, barely anyone noticed at the time.

True fact: I won a premiere invitation from her official Fan Club...it was very fancy. But I could not go because I had to travel from Germany to L.A. and I was young and broke. It is a nice memento, tho. I still have it. I had this on VHS! Great to watch again! There was a real EVITA craze. I have tonnes of magazines with M on the cover as Evita! It was amazing on a big screen. Watched it many times! Masterpiece! She was robbed of an Oscar! But I went bananas when I watched the Golden Globes acceptance speech! ❤
