Blown borosilicate glass which is then exposed to the fumes of burning pure silver (99 per cent minimum) while the glass is just below a red heat. A layer or silver is chemically bonded to the glass creating a partial mirror, which can then be manipulated to some extent using the composition of the flame: an oxygen-rich flame for blues, golds and yellows, or a gas-rich 'reducing' flame for silv...

The finished bead?
No final bead picture????? Arghhhhhhhh
Can i open this project easy ?
Waw
Why tf did you not show the bead when your done.. you string us along the entire ride just out of the suspense of how it’s going to turn out.. you start explaining about how good it’s going to come out and then you just end the damn video mate! That’s such a horrendous annoyance for anyone who took the time to view your work and then just took any pleasure out of being able to enjoy what you created in front of us.. it could of looked like a like of dog shit and none of will ever know the difference... thanks for nothing 😢

Does anyone know what type of torch he uses?
Incredible. It certainly gives you more respect for the artist. All that for one bead. As a beader, l thank you.
What did you make the handle out of? Stainless still and what on the tip?
Fabulous video - except I wanted to see the finished bead! :(
the work that they put just to make one bead makes me realize why Murano glass are expensive. Good to know the work behind this beautiful glass beads.
Graham, thank you for this great video. I just started flameworking and have just the little beginner set up with the single fuel torch, LOL! It is good to learn with, but you are right, the flame is not quite hot enough and it takes about 3 times as long to make a bead like you just did, but it is okay to take your time when learning. I am also a glass fuser and have been for quite awhile and am thrilled I finally started trying this form of hot glass art. I greatly appreciate your calm manner and excellent information. I hope you will make more videos. Thanks for sharing! -Margaret
Question regarding Glass Sculpture Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, may I ask you a question, please? I´m looking for someone who can design and produce for me a Glass Sculpture for my Levitating Waterdrips, as a "Home". I have the technical Effect ready, but I can´t find where to house it so it will look even better. You can find some Videos about this Effect at the Website schwebend.de (and some description in English Language at antigravity-waterfall.com/ or also at antigravity-waterfalls.com/). What I want: Something what excites People even if my Levitating Water Effect is shut down. But, VERY, VERY IMPORTANT: The Effect has it´s own Illumination (it´s own Light), and it MUST be avoided that Light from outside can fall onto the falling and raising Waterdrips. At the same time, everyone MUST be able to put his Hand into the Drips to prove that it is just simple Water and not a Projection or "Fata Morgana". Are you able to produce something for me what can satisfy my Needs? If so, what would be the Price for one peace, and how long do I have to wait until it will be ready to ship? And if I can find some People who are willing to buy even more pieces, would you be able to make more of them? If so, in which time? Thank you very much in advance for your answer. If you have questions or Need more Information, you can also reach me by Cellular Phone at the German Phone Number 0049 176 957 067 17. Very truly yours, Thomas Libermann EntenTrainer.de
Is this soft soda lime glass or borosilicate?
Murano is Soft Glass
It is really an art of love and precision. Very well explained.
