Switching from Goodyear Duratrac to test out the ALL NEW Cooper Rugged Trek! Let me know your thoughts on these new tires! Excited to see how these handle snow in the winter. Duratrac was 3 peak rated and the new Cooper is not in this size. 🚨🚨Be sure to check out Part 2: Winter Driving/Review🚨🚨 ruclips.net/video/UZXtBnLGug0/видео.html

First time having some fun with the new Mavic Pro and E39
I don’t get it why the surge if it’s a belt or pulley???? Doesn’t make sense?
Anyone know how these do in sand?
Have you found out what it is my truck is doing the same it’s coming from under the dash all these idiots in the comments saying it’s from the belts
You say Goodyear, title says Cooper. Just saying
Good looking tire, looking at either these or a new set of Goodyear duratracs, love the duratracs but sometimes wanting a little more aggressive traction without a full mud tire. Thanks for posting!
Have you noticed any mpg loss?
how many miles did these tires last? im looking to get these on my silverado 1500 in 10 ply.
Nice video needs to upgrade his side rails
How about weight in the bed in 2wd.
Your grates are upside down
Ive been looking for a review in the winter with these tires. Thank you. Are you still happy with them?
Should I get the 2 burner or 3 burner?
Just bought a set. I'm very surprised how quiet they are.
any all terrain tire will spin in snow lol
Thanks , this was just what I was needing to see . I’m getting them
Are they LT or standard load tires ?
I have a 2017 F150 Crew Cab 5.0 same tires they do well I wish I had limited slip though but very impressive on another note what exhaust / mods you have I have tuner true dual exhaust with cats yet dual in and out black widow nice Rumble, I immediately noticed your Rumble so I thought I would ask sounds good
Can't really hear it. I think I'm having similar issue in my truck. I posted a video on my page
thank you
From all the tyre reviews I have watched over the last month, you would be hard pressed to find brand name tyres that don't impress, or at least satisfy the average motorist these days. I was looking at the right time (black friday sale) here in Aus, gota set of 5 255/85r16 Yokohama geolandar m/t's for $300 each, a very good price for over here.
Void size is much the same as the duratracs
Thanks for the info man. Super appreciative
Thank you for posting a long road noise example. Trails are a 1-2 day drive from me. I want the most aggressive off road tire possible without sacrificing too much on highway noise/comfort. I was set on Wildpeak AT3Ws until I looked into rugged terrain (aka hybrid terrain) tires. The Cooper Rugged Trek tire appears to check all the boxes: performance, price, availability, and comfort.
Fantastic review. Thank you. Looking to replace my Ko2's with something quiet but a bit better in the rain, but also great offroad. Really interested in these now. Thank you!
How are these tires on ICE. I live in North Georgia. And I’ve is a big concern during our winters.
I appreciate your videos. I have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and the GoodYear Wrangler Kevlar Territoy ATs suck ass!! Rotated every 5000 miles and they are going to be toasted by 30,000 miles. I ordered some Cooper Rugged Trek 265 70 R16 which are stock sizes and hope they are awesome. I have had the Discoverer AT34S on other trucks and they were great.
That's because you take corners fast
Anyone having issues with theirs after mounting and balancing having vibration at 50 mph and higher? Just super light vibration?
You need to have your tires ROAD FORCE balanced and that won’t happen
@@Hunter.36 ya had them re-balanced somewhere else. The first place screwed up and cracked my rim even. Won't say they did it either ugh
Cam that top rack be removed? Feel like it would be in the way...
Living in northeast Tennessee I might buy these Cooper tires so I can go off roaring up I'm the Cherokee national forest/ in Pisgah national forest in western nd and down in the smoky mountain national park and in nantahala national forest down by Murphy, nc. We did not get any snowfall this past winter in the tri cities area ( brustol_johnson city and kungsport) so I am a little hesitant to buy too aggressive of mud terrain tires to do the daily driving in northeast Tennessee with the couple of road trips east to Richmond and Alexandria, va areas to visit with my son and daughter. Just would not want to hear the louder noise of M/T tires.
thanks for this video and the last one! surprised how smooth and quiet these are with the mean lookin' tread. i think these might be just what Im after as I mostly street driving but want a bit of an aggressive look.
If you buy again, would you go with the Duratracs or the Rugged trekk ? I daily drive an SUV but I also use it for some serious off-road on weekends
I would definitely buy the Rugged Treks again. They have been amazing.
I have these tires on my Silverado, I live in rural Michigan off a dirt road. These tires have been excellent in rain, loose snow and packed snow. A slight hum on the dry pavement which I don't mind at all. Goodyear now owns Cooper.
Hope Goodyear doesn't ruin Cooper.
How are they in the ice?
Thinking about getting it for my Trail boss
How are they comparing to the Copper S/T max
What off set are those rims?
Great vid/review. Thank you. How much psi were you running?
How do you like them a year later? Thansk
Love these things would absolutely buy them again. Check out the winter video I made.
I’ll take a look. Thank you.
How many miles on them and what's the treadwear now?
You should NEVER go more than 5 years on a tire. Never.
Been on a set of BF Goodrich ko2s for 13 years and still going. Its not a daily though. They had cracks a few years ago but fixed them with silicone.
How about hard pack / icy conditions ?
How many miles?
How are they on the ⛽️. I have a 22 F150 and and kept the original ones on, Hankook AT 2 From east cost 🇨🇦 so snow will be a thing.
We just got this tires install in my wife wrangler and i am impressed how aggressive they look and how quiet they are well c how did they do
Just got some one my truck , ready to play in the snow lol
Im running 275 60R/20
How did they compare to dura you ran before? Snow, noise and traction
Finally someone did a video on this in snow! Bought a set of 265/60/18 a year ago with 20k miles on them now. These rugged Treks did a fantastic job in dry/wet/dirt/mud but have not tested it in deep snow or icy. Thanks for the video!
These things have been great!
We’ve gotten about 42”s of snow here in Anchorage in the last 11 days. Drove my 2nd generation Frontier threw at least 14” of snow with no problem. I haven’t spun out yet, or get stuck.
@@russtoverwhat tires?
I went crazy bout them turkeys I was yelling get out and shoot em 🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Just ordered mine
I’m sure you will enjoy them. Check out part 2 on winter driving I did let me know what you think
Pretty impressive. I have the same truck and know how useless it is in 2wd on anything but dry pavement.
Someone gets it! Not to bash the old duratracs because they were great tires but in 2wd wet pavement in this truck they almost became unsafe. These feel so secure on wet roads now!
How badly does it effect the mileage?
Not something I paid attention to as I don’t drive the truck daily.
