Nice sound. Thanks I'm planning to do the same on my 320i B48. By the way, do you still remember the diameter of the exhaust? Can this be retrofitted if I only purchase the muffler?

@@jdc7182 stock exhaust diameter is around 63-65mm. If you want buy muffler from 340i model and install it to 320i then it's required extender. Because diameter exhaust pipe of 340i is around 80-82mm.

MPE is a alot louder. 600 pounds is good price for excellent quality of OEM part imho. But i also removed front resonator for loudness.

@@inguarus Thanks for the insight Igor, it is hard to tell how loud it is on video. My current set-up is fairly loud (especially compared to stock), so I didn't think a 600 MPE would make much difference, but definitely considering it now.

@@inguarus Another quick question. Was the full 340i exhaust a straight bolt-on to the stock 320i? I was thinking because the 340i has a different Cat to the 320i, the interface from the exhaust to the Cat will be different? Is this the case?

@@TsubasaAbs the difference is only in the bend of the exhaust pipe before connecting to the cat. Any welder will be able to solve this problem easily.

I didn't use reducer. I just installed a full exhaust line with 80mm diameter from a 340i model. Because exit from catalytic converter is same 80mm on 320/330/340/420/430/440. For 420i b48 you need reducer from 80mm to 65mm only if you want install rear silencer from 340/440. So if you want swap full exhaust line from 40i to 20i you don't need any reducers. It's absolutely bolt-on. I can send some photos from bottom side via email.

Igor Tschernow на впускном коллекторе установлен жидкостной интеркулер. Точнее он в него интегрирован.

This is full custom exhaust from turbine. original exhaust line with catalysator removed. installed new exhaust line with downpipe, boysen resonator, mg race back silencer. when you install downpipe instead catalysator you can hear specific sound after gear shifting on full acceleration.

полностью заменили всю трассу. сделали даунпайп на заказ, поставили резонатор boysen, задняя банка mg race.
