    Hello, I am currently learning data science through an online platform named iNeuron. I began my journey in September 2023 and am now learning scraping, having completed the Python section. I think my learning pace is slow due to my lack of an IT background, but I am determined to pursue a career in the data industry. Could you please advise me on the appropriate pace to learn all the necessary skills, and which ones are the most important to master first to at least become a data analyst, as I need a job as soon as possible. Your follower, Sandeep.🙂

    I have been following your videos and channel for quite a while, and honestly, it's absolutely fantastic. I have a suggestion: Would you consider starting a series on applying ML concepts to real data? Having both theory and hands-on examples together would be incredibly valuable. I work in the tech industry with access to a lot of data, so I would love to learn from your projects and put these ideas into practice. Thanks again for making these concepts so accessible.

      Since I work in the finance sector, I would love to learn how to apply machine learning concepts to financial data. It would be especially helpful if you could use genuine financial datasets with multiple tables and demonstrate how to apply these techniques. Ideally, I would love to see an approach focused on financial modelling that includes key areas like: Balance sheet Income statement Cash flow statement Thank you so much.

      Very good question Abdullah. In that case you bring to top anything else which makes your profile interesting. For example, if you've some very interesting project you've worked on during your university, you can put that there. Getting your first job is always hardest. Try to get some unpaid internship, that might help getting the second job.

    can you please guide us that being in pakistan as a new grad how to get job in big international tech companies ?

    • @DrAnwarHaq
      @DrAnwarHaq 7 дней назад

      No international company will hire you, while you're still in Pakistan (unless they are hiring you for their Pakistan office). Your best bet as a fresh-grad would be to go to other countries first (e.g. as a student) and then acquire permit to work in that country. Only after that you can apply to these big international tech companies. Sorry, the path is hard. That's why its rewarding too.

    • @mahnoordurranikhan
      @mahnoordurranikhan 7 дней назад

      @@DrAnwarHaq I've observed that students in other countries often have more opportunities for work experience, such as internships and training programs. In Pakistan, however, these opportunities are limited, and students usually have to seek out freelance projects on their own. Unfortunately, it can be challenging to find high-standard projects that provide valuable experience.

    People need to understand this: Having big names on your resume and more than seven years of work experience in the same field will get you a job no matter what. The problem arises when someone has less than three years of experience and no big names to their credit.

    • @DrAnwarHaq
      @DrAnwarHaq 8 дней назад

      Agree with you 100%. Of course, folks with less or no experience struggle in the job market much more. Hence having a sold resume is even more crucial for them.

    The demand never matched the supply, that is why tech hiring was able to expand. We know from DOJ vs Facebook 2020, that Facebook recieves hundreds of resumes for every job. Of those hundreds, by Facebook's own admission to Federal investigators, 30+ are fully qualified for the job (that is pre-pandemic numbers, and before the tech hiring boom Anwar speaks of). Now Facebook had no issues throwing away 99.7% of the fully qualified candidates that applied to Facebook (according Facebook's own HR staff talking with Federal Investigators). But most of tech at the time (I know this was true at my company) were easily finding 10-15 candidates for every job) Think about sports, many people want to join a sports team, few ever get a chance to even play minor league professional. That's where we are right now with software development jobs, and it will just continue. The reason is because many companies don't even want to pay minimum wage for software developers, and instead want to outsource 50% or more of the work to India. Where a developer can be hired at sub-U.S.-minimum wage. This happens because unlike India, the U.S. protects the dollar against inflation by raising interest rates in a massive Federal Market manipulation. Every U.S. industry needs tariff protection because of this massive market manipulation. And the dollar never equalizes against the value of other currencies. Hence, Americans are always more expensive. And if your job can be Outsourced, it will. And it gets worse, because we give a 15% tax break to hire a foreign student over a local student. Why does this tax break exist? Because Bill Gates and other Tech billionaires lobbied the Obama administration for it. Besides a tariff on subsidized software imports (subsidized by the idiocy of the Fed preaching free markets, while manipulating the same markets at the Federal level (to help their banking buddies)). We need to extend the OPT discount to all U.S. students and the unemployed. Every tech job requires some training, and every few years, tech creates a new platform (currently it is LLM and Generative AI). If we gave the that 15% discount to everyone, as part of an apprenticeship program, this would encourage industry to train people into the new tech platforms (something they used to do, before OPT and H-1b). If the U.S. worker leaves early, the worker pays back the discount. And this would counter the market manipulation that occurs when people on an OPT (waiting for an H-1b) or on H-1b (waiting for Green Card) experience, that makes foreign workers, typically from one country with a huge Green Card back log, have over local, better qualified citizens. And why do we know these locals are better qualified. Read about it the DOJ vs Facebook 2020. In that case there were 2600+ cases of discrimination against better qualified local engineers by Facebook. Over just the 1.5 year period covered by the investigation. And why do we know they were better qualified than the foreign workers (who stole the job), because Facebook's own HR personnel admitted this to Federal Investigators. And told the Federal Investigators they were forbidden to forward the resumes of the better qualified local engineers, to hiring managers hiring foriegn worker into similar jobs. Even though the local candidates were better qualified than the foreign workers who were given the job (simply because the foreign worker was preferred because they were trapped, to Facebook, while getting stuck in the H-1b and Green Card visa cue. And such actions, by Facebook, violate Federal civils rights and qualify as discrimination based upon nationality, because you are not allowed to take visa status into consideration as a qualification when you hire workers in the United States. BTW, Facebook had no issues massively increasing its workforce post 2020, maybe the C-suite got the message, there are plenty of highly qualified local engineers, and bigoted managers are the reason there is a complete illusion of a tech worker shortage. The tech worker shortage is big discrimination lie, against local U.S. engineers, caused by the lies of middle manager who basically hate Americans and prefer people from their own country (because they can become indentured to them).

    I am 2004 BE(IT) passout, I have experience of core software development for the last 20 years in java. In 2021 I started to learn data science. I initially started my journey with Machine Learning,then done deep learning. Now in order to learn ML, you need to be very strong in Linear Algebra (metrices and vectors), probability. Then, you need to learn basic level stats. Then you need to spend lot of time to analyse various datasets, apply various data cleanup, prepare many plots to bring insight about the data. Then prepare ML/DL models and do hyper parameter tuning, then do modular coding in python then do MLOPS, and cloud management. This took to 3 years. Believe me, the journey is very very very difficult.
