@LinseyHarperr we had a day of marmite on toast and there was veg and tomatoes and onions and beans etc. Compared to this time last year when every other meal was something and chips it's very different but thank you for sharing your opinion.

I put on 3lb over Christmas week list it again by 6th January but with this cold virus I'm eating everything in sight as I always do when I'm ill but not as much as I would usually but I reckon I will have put it back on when I weigh on Monday. Lol! X

@musicfan2511 hi thank you for your question. No I am epileptic and on an odd dose of medication since I was 13 years old and was always told they didn't know the effect alcohol would have so I've always chosen not to drink for that reason. X

@LauraBidingCitizen firstly thank you! Next I don't do slimming world I literally try and stay under 150g carbs and 50g sugars a day with a cheat day every Saturday or Sunday. Haven't stuck to it today I'm full of cold so have hit the crisps and chocolate lol. I haven't been on any medication. They allowed me to try diet controlled first and thankfully it's worked. I use my fitness pal app to keep track of the carbs and sugars I'm eating each day and have lost weight as a result of eating less crap basically lol. I'm sorry you need insulin. That must be tough to cope with. X

@ I’ve wanted to try counting carbs / sugars for the longest time, but I’m not the brightest 😂 How do I go about doing that in a homemade meal? Because veggies have carbs, don’t they? Ugh.. see, confused already lol! I just feel whatever I eat is wrong! I’ve been told to not eat wholewheat foods as my tummy can’t break them down (ongoing gastro issues), if I have a slice of white bread for example, I have to have protein with it so it breaks the sugars up (so an egg, etc!) Would love to see a week of meals in your life but know that’s likely difficult to film with little Oscar!! I’m so glad they have you the diet option. Don’t even know you & I’m chuffed for you! I’m used to taking insulin now but just wish my sugars would come down more. I could eat like a bird & my sugars are still high 😔 Thanks so much for replying, really appreciate the advice 💗 Going to see if I can figure things out xxx

@LauraBidingCitizen aww that makes it difficult if you can't have wholemeal. Unused thw my fitness pal app and search for the foods I am eating and most of them are in there. It's so much easier than trying to figure it out and track it myself lol. Hopefully things will come together for you so you can get it under control. I have uploaded all latest meals of the week but they are just dinners did you mean what I eat in a day? I can take photos and upload them at the end of the day for a week if it's helpful? X
