Traded my 2019 Colorado LT V6 for a 2023 Ridgeline. No comparison, regarding ride and comfort. Colorado relatively crude and uncomfortable. Bed more usable in Chevy, but Honda has the trunk. Leaf springs on Chevy creaked and moaned despite 3 attempts to correct by dealer. Drove me crazy, so dumped it. Very happy after 14 months with Honda.

The Ridgeline has a much smoother ride and quieter interior cabin. It also has a normally aspirated 6 cylinder engine which takes regular fuel. And best of all, it comes with standard All Well Drive. Ridgeline rides better due to unibody and a weatherproof below-the-bed cargo box. Ridgeline has 50 inches between wheel wells...can fit 2 48" large dog kennels in the Ridgeline, not Colorado, can fit plywood or sheetrock between wheel wells, not Colorado.

I don't think I'd mind the push button transmission but I'd rather that they used a little plastic shift lever on the right side of the steering column like Mercedes-Benz. What I don't like is the location of the trans buttons being in the center stack. I'd much prefer that the buttons be closer to the driver away from possible tampering while underway. What I wanted to know is if Honda has returned to using two evaporators for the Odessey a/c? I've been hearing that after deleting the rear evaporator in 2019(?) that the a/c can't keep up a comfortable cabin temperature.

I drove this and a Kia Sportage. The Sportage feels like I'm in a car that's 10 years newer. The Honda feels like it isn't going to fall apart. I chose the Honda.

It's good, and good is great. If you aren't a strict utilitarian, skip this one.

Thank you for the way you did this video review. Most reviewer's talk too much during the test driving. As a result, it's very difficult to get an idea of how quiet or not a given car is. With you I was able to tell that the Honda Odyssey was very quiet, as that's important to me. You also did a good job with the rest of the video too. I've subscribed.

While both vehicles are great and have their pros and cons I will take the Colorado over the Ridgeline . The Colorado looks like a truck instead of a SUV without the camper shell removed and the towing and horse power is better.

Touchscreen displays should be inaccessible for drivers while driving. I believe most displays show manufacturers' warnings about doing so, but there's nothing that can stop a driver from doing so while in motion. If looking at your phone while driving is illegal, then taking your eyes 👀 off the road to fool with your touchscreen should be illegal as well. Let's see the police try to enforce THAT. I guess that's what databoxes are for, huh??😳

It's one of the slowest mid-size sedans there are but it's great on gas, looks beautiful, and it's very utilitarian. If you want gas, get the 1.5L Turbo, and for performance in this sedan you have to get the 2.0L Turbo, 250 Horsepower model.

Just putting the words "Full Comparison" in the title doesn't make it a full comparison. You know that right?

The design of Ridgeline was better suited to meeting my needs than any other midsize truck. However, it has 2 fatal defects. First it is not an off-road truck, so the standard AWD only adds complexity, decreases fuel economy, and adds $3,000 to the price when compared to the completion. If you live in a snow belt then disregard that comment. Second, it has one of the last remaining interference timing belt engines. Apparently, Honda has no problem saving $10-15 per vehicle when they know every customer will spend $1,300 between 60,000 and 100,000 miles to change the timing belt and water pump. And the HPD package is nothing more than a $3,000 option for some graphics and tire package. Try buying a Ridgeline for less than $40,000.
