A short video of float/fishing the South Fork of the Snake River in Idaho a few miles below Palisades Reservoir. It was a cold windy day - Oct 17, 2024. In the morning I caught a few small trout on a Zebra Midge nymph. In the afternoon my guide Brenda suggested we look for rising fish in riffles feeding on Blue Wing Olive dry flies. I caught some nice Cutthroat trout casting dry flies to them.

Ann's first drift boat fishing adventure on the "A" section of the Green River below Flaming Gorge Reservoir, UT with her Castle Rock, CO neighbor. The fishing guide is Nick Jackson from the Trout Creek Fly Shop in Dutch John, UT. This was the first of two drift boat floats down the river on 18 and 19 October 2022.
