Uh… nah, “Starcrash” does not work anywhere nor anyhow. It is SPECTACULARLY stupid. Only thing I found interesting once was on one of the large starships near the beginning they used the command module of an Eagle from Space 1999 as a greebly on the ship surface. Everything else was absolute derp.

John Carter was a "space" movie and the studio decided to keep that a secret and market it as a Western. No wonder the audience didn't show up.

John Carter was killed by the studio pulling it from the release schedule, re titling it from "John Carter of Mars" to "John Carter" and redoing the complete ad campaign which increased the budget by 33%( it costs as much to advertise a movie as it takes to make it. and if you scuttle the campaign and start over that doubles the cost of advertising the movie. so 150 + 150 + 150 instead of 150 = 150. Critics hated it because of the cheesecake.

A Clockwork Orange & the 3 sequels to Planet of Apes

The Evil Dead and An American Werewolf in London are NOT cult classics that don't get enough credit. They are bona fide classics that were huge in their day, incredibly influential and still held in high regard today. Stupid list.

I didn't know about this movie until I saw it on Max... It blew my mind and it left me craving for more! People aren't much into Westerns and adding the fact that every movie now has some type of progressive agenda in it it killed the movie and theater industry. BUT if you haven't seen this and you want some old fashioned written movie I will suggest this one. It is 3 hours of different stories that don't match but I'm guessing they will all connect at the very end, hopefully chapter 4. I read it's 4 chapters so I hope it's 4 chapters.

I only take exception with The Lone Ranger, which I like. I suspect that what offended so many people is its mixture of comedy/farce with seriousness. But how can you not like that 10 minutes railroad chase at the end? And (guilty pleasure) I did like the ending of Catwoman!
