That’s my home lake right there, my buddy’s own tamarack lodge. It’s a great place to go out of! They offer great fishing opportunities for walleye pike perch Muskies and panfish! Sweet video. I was out there spearing last week in the cold snap also I wonder if it was the same day!
@@muskyboyhines thanks for watching! I have been fishing Winnie for years, just never the Tamarack Bay area for spearing. Tyler runs a great operation there and will definitely be back for early ice next year! Maybe run into you out there sometime.

@@jameschurch1277 thanks for watching! I always show the failures because there is a ton of valuable learning experience in doing so. The sucker hook sets were Victoria’s first and second that she had ever done. Of course things weren’t going to go perfect and we knew that and accepted it going in for the sake of getting her experience in sucker fishing. Personally, I don’t need to win the battle to know my worth as a musky angler and we try to keep things real on this channel as we’re not trying to portray that we are some sort of musky expert. We are weekend warriors, like most who watch our videos and we want to keep it that way. Appreciate the support. Hope the holidays were great to you!
Great video Kyle, those are the breaks in musky fishing. You can do everything right and still have a catastrophe. I' ve been there.

Thanks for watching! Yes it’s a 462 with a 32” bar and chain setup that’s dedicated to cutting ice. I grind down all the rakers and two teeth in a row (I.e., I leave every third tooth). Cuts like butter and the longer bar is great for angling the ice so you aren’t staring at ice all day.

Ive always looked at those golfball decoys and wondered if they produce. A guy could put damn near anything down there. Hot a buddy that swears by his empty mountain dew can and he shoots a ton of pike.
@@eduffy4937 those golf ball teasers are money. By far my most productive decoy over the past five years. I am willing to bet you could put just about anything shiny on an ornament spinner and draw pike in
