do you think a net is needed for a sew in? because there’s been some debates about how it’s hard to itch your scalp and stuff when there’s a net

As some one who relaxes and has a sensitive head that burns in like 5 minutes..... one of the ways that I learnt to buy my self some time is 1week before ur relaxer , wash ur hair and condition it.... then for that week make sure to leave the head alone, no combing, no scratching, no heat, no oiling ,no pulling. No nothing....like let the head rest.... u will feel minimum to no burns

This is definitely a better method because when you use that stocking cap… and it starts rising… that’s what messes up the closure so soon and you gotta keep going back for repair

What product do you use for the braid down? I tried braiding gel but it gets too sticky and my daughters hair gets tangled up. Then I tried a conditioning pudding which made it soft, but reactivates the curls, causing tangles when I'm braiding. I think I'm doing something weird with my fingers when I braid, but just wonder if there's a product that keeps the hairs together without being sticky. Does adding in hair around the edge of the face make it stronger for the sew in?
