Thanks for this vid! My Monopoly game is very similar to the first one you showed. However, under the Parker Brothers Inc. logo it reads, Made in USA Salem, Massachusetts/Des Moines, Iowa. Below that, the line, PARKER BROTHERS TRADEMARK FOR ITS REAL ESTATE TRADING GAME EQUIPMENT (actually, all the tines below the logo are in all caps. I just forgot to press the CAPS button). Interestingly, the sticker on the board does not include “/DES MOINES, IOWA” More info: plastic houses and hotels. Eight metal tokens: Thimble, Iron, Horse and rider, Wheelbarrow, Top hat, Toto-like dog, Cannon, Shoe. Your thoughts on its age?

What is this worth ? Special edition 1999 Monopoly Game still wrapped. On the lid it has in the upper right corner game piece money bag.

Hello sir , I just love watching all your Monopoly videos and have definitely learned alot! I'm a huge collector of these older games and have quite a collection. I was wondering if you would be able to let me know the proper order the title deeds and chance and chest cards come in? I have a 1960 Collette Sproule yellow box thats just like new. However I would love to put everything in proper order. This is not for resale purposes at all , this is purely for my collection. Was wondering if you could email me or let me know in some way? This is the version i grew up with and still play to this day. I always liked the cannon token. The new sets out now just don’t look right with the boring Chance & Community Chest Cards and title deeds that just have a symbol for a house or hotel.

My best friend had this version and we played it a lot in the late 70’s and the 80’s. Interesting that the money wasn’t sealed. I wondered why the cannon and battleship were missing. Good point there. They were in my older set from the early 60’s. I like your channel name. I’m also a rail fan. 😎

How about Running Lionel locomotives with MTH DCS??? I have all MTH locomotives and no Lionel locomotives. But might want to run them.

a lot of times the plow will come broken. ive had that happen on some legacy engines so its smart atlas did this

I have two MTH Versions and this one in Atlas, they are awesome.But as far as sound sets MTH PS3 an 2 are better then Lionel , the horn on the MTH Version is hands down the best . And the SD70 sound Sets Lionel doesn’t come Close , But Sound quality Lionel is the Best but the files are not . Nice Video .

Hi there, I’m curious about the money as I use it in art projects. I’ve bought older bills (no box or board)that have copyright 1935 printed on it and tested it as neutral ph; that means it was made with acid free paper made to last. I’ve also bought same type that tested acidic and all the modern varieties are acidic paper, and not good for archival projects. Is there any resource to find out which year the higher quality money was printed? Thanks!

Vintage Monopoly games and trains. Two things I’ve liked since childhood.

I saw this game at the Annex Antiques Center and it’s $20 but it has all of the stuff which were complete and it was the 1960’s edition. Parker Brothers (now Hasbro) has been updating many versions of “Monopoly” over the years.

Really interesting, thank you for this. Oddly enough I have the same matching box cover but mine has the red inner box like you mentioned, not the blue with the questions. The back of the game board is black . My chance cards are also blue ish as well rather than orange. Could this be a separate year ? Any idea what year mine may be?
