I went with Workaseason who pay for everything for you, whereas companies like BUNAC and Oyster Worldwide make you pay for the programme and flights aren’t included. 🙃 But I guess you have more support and choice in what job/location you get, whereas with Workaseason you choose the country and put down 3 favourite resorts but don’t necessarily get the one you picked. I chose St. Anton, Mayrofen and Seefeld but got Sölden (which worked out really well in the end though!)

I am thinking about going with my friend to Val Thorens and finding a job there or going with SkiGroup. With SkiGroup you don’t get to choose destination, but they pay for travel to and from the destination, food (I think) and the place where you live. I’m just afraid that it might be too much job and to little skiing and après ski

its called a scratch spin, its one of the first spins you learn when figure skating. also guys figure skate too

it's called figure skating.. and its like the second spin you learn to do 😭plus its very fun so 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@Dominik40301 That’s what figure skating is. It’s not just skating around in a circle. It’s literally a spin that every figure skater learns regardless of whether they’re male or female. We must learn this in order to pass tests for levels.

traveling is cause her weight isnt over her spinning leg if you lift the hip up a little you will stay in the middle my coach tells me it all the time and it works

also if it was toepick her spin would slow down a lot quicker

@@tohtaco6332 Yeah it’s definitely my hip too! I noticed I lower it when going into the spin and then I raise it. 🫠 But it’s good I’m filming my skating now so I can see where I need to improve.

@@alice-elizabeth it’s pretty hard to get off that toepick entirely, a lot of people will still have the drag pick slightly scratching. As long as you’re not too forward it should be ok. It takes a lot of practice, like years and years to stop the scratching. It’s very hard, but try relaxing your foot a little and lifting your toes. Also straighten your spinning leg a little more, but don’t straighten too much.
