Las personas en situación de pobreza saben lo que les está sucediendo. Ven lo que está roto y cómo arreglarlo. Pero en todo California, en temas tan diversos como la vivienda, la inmigración, el encarcelamiento masivo y el empren...

Gracias ☺️ I see you!
We should not be taxed until we make a living wage. That’s how a French and American Revolution could have been avoided. “No taxation without representation”, where the government never does concretely beneficial things for the poor to help them rise above poverty.
25:27 - When she actually said the wrong amount of years that she’s been married! LOL. She’s adorable! 🥰
Great documentary right here. :)
If Californians want to improve their state. STOP voting the same lousy politicians back in. That means the Democrats. California is a total shitshow in 2023.
👏👏
Woooohhhooooooo! This is such an amazingly real and heart-rending, but inspiring managerie of real lives looking to thrive and be heard. It's my story and really hit home. "EPIC" and wonderful film! 🎉🎉🎉
It’s very important that we all participate and increase the awareness that poverty affects all levels of the economy. Together we can RISE!
Put out more, it's educational Especially fresno
Uptown Sinclair’s Idea that failed in the 1930s , Just like it will fail now 💡
Ending poverty in California is a failed effort BEFORE IT STARTS as long as we have "sanctuary cities" that continue to welcome hundreds of thousands of Poverty Stricken People with no legal means to support themselves to Cross the southern border !!IT SIMPLY WONT HAPOEN ! ! !
I think it starts with effective leadership, addressing the issues in each community.
For those trying to say that we "Immigrants" need to stop asking for "handouts" or "government help" I've never dependent of the government for help and I do too use my hand and feet I work under the table of course but why do I have to settle for less then minimum wage job when I know I have what it take to get paid what you guys do yet I can't because the government whom ive only ever ask for is my documentation and a worker's permit is ok with pushing that issued aside don't ever see me speaking my story as a cry for government help NEVER we (Immigrants) are asking to have documentation and resources permit to work not money its almost like we're begging for the united states to allow us to rightfully and honorably work unlike alot of Americans that live off the government but yet can't get off their ass and use their social securities to keep a job im not talking about for 2 months quit and apply for unemployment as most of our American society now does but just like someone else said we will never change the government they only listen to those with money, money us in middle or lower class will never have.
This is powerful🙌🏾🙌🏾
latino here, and I agree. some people have started to forget that they can move their hands and feet. you see people from far off countries like nigeria, ethiopia, with less money than a lot of the people here in america that never complain. they just work hard and do what must be done to open their small mom and pop shop. people are ungrateful and just want to depend on government for EVERYTHING
I certainly see a lot of people, sitting on their butts and begging for government help. How about helping yourselves? Ever think of that? Stop making excuses and feeling sorry for yourselves. There are jobs available, but the government has made people, especially migrants, depend on it for free handouts. Use your hands for work. Don’t just hold them open to accept charity.

@@jamesnunez3898 Honest to God I've never dependent of the government for help and I do work under the table of course but why do I have to settle for a minimum wage job when I know I have what it take to get paid what you guys do yet I can't because the government who if only ever ask for is my documentation and a worker permit is ok with pushing that issued aside of see it as a cry for government help never we are asking to have documentation and resources just like alot of Americans that live off the government have but yet can't get off their ass and use
Poor people aren’t going to be able to change the system by making pleas to politicians. Politics responds to money power, which the working class doesn’t have. But we have people power, and the way we leverage that power is through organized labor strikes. It’s the sole tactical advantage that poor people have under capitalism
Yep
This was really well done and is the exact message we need right now.
