My wife has been going to Wilson's since 2006 when it was on the other side of the river. We are never disappointed. Love Wilson and his wife. He is quite the character. A fun way to spend the afternoon.

My wife and I visited this cafe last week because of this video. What a nice secluded sanctuary away from the main street of Cabarete just past Janet's Supermarket on the left at Casa Blanca Hotel. We had breakfast of wafflles, huevos rancheros and omelletes. The waffles came with rum syrup---yummm! Fresh juices and smoothies. This is attached to a small hotel with a lovely garden and small pool. The service is friendly and attentive and the prices are really affordable! Thanks for this video!

We were just in Cabarete last week! Definitely a great affordable place to go. Right on the beach! Attentive and quick service. The happy hour specials are definitely a big plus---you can try different ones as they have specials for almost the whole day! Sandwiches are great and they all come with a free drink---the fresh juices are awesome. Jugo de mango or pina are my favorites! Most sandwiches are around $4 or 5 USD. Thank you for this video!

I just visited Wilson's Bar last weekend. I'm from Toronto and my husband and I rented bikes in Cabarete, and rode through an abandoned resort area, came to a beautiful secluded beach trail that lead to La Boca (the opening of the river to the sea). We thought there would be restaurants on our side of La Boca but when we arrived, a security guard told us to get on the boat and ride it across to Wilson's Bar. We didn't know anything about Wilson's Bar but the 2 minute boat ride and the amazing freshly grilled whole fish and langoustines and Cuba Libre we enjoyed at Wilson's Bar is probably the best memory of our entire trip. You could likely take a cab there to the other side of La Boca but the boat ride is really essential. Go to Wilson's Bar!

This is a great place to go, everything is fresh made and good quality ingredients and very friendly service.. We love the mojitos and Piñas coladas, specially in happy hour 2 for 1!!! Its our fave place in Cabarete :)

Looks like a great place in Cabarete! Wondering if you're getting a discount on mojitos for the plug lol. BTW, it may sound gross initially, but try a mojito with gin instead of rum. There's enough sugar to go around anyways, might as well try it with a twist...you'll never go back :)

Hi Peter I love all your videos! I lived in cabarete for 3 years and 3 years in sosua before that! Cabarete is the place to be. I have been in England for the past 5 months and its killing me, I miss the Dr so much. Watching these videos brings me a little closer to home! I walked my dogs past the German resturant everyday but have never been inside! Although my wife has as she is a friend of the owner. Thanks for great videos!
