As you have allready found out, the issue occurs in SG standalone only, so if you use the auv3 in e.g. AU;M, it will work fine. For standalone use on 8.x for now the beta is recommended.

Thank you. To get the keyboard to loop in time with iBassist, I set iBassist up to send chords to the keyboard. TO do that you click the hamburger button next to iBassist icon and select Chords 1 or Chords 2 Midi Outputs to the app you want to play the chords that accompany the bass line.
