Okay, I now everyone has been sayin that "only YG artistes can cover each other's song" and sure that could be true, but there are other artist's that did justice to this song, and they honestly all slayed so hard. I'm not trying to be biased to any group because I love all but in my opinion here are the best BANG BANG BANG covers I've heard: Ikon, Treasure, Stray Kids (if u haven't already, please listen, it might not be just as good as Treasure's and Ikon's covers, but it was amazing!! Especially because Stray Kids were rookies at the time, but they still slayed so hard.) and Dreamcatcher!!! (Guys OML, dreamcatcher's cover was sooooo good, yall gotta hear it!). Different teachers create different students. I recognized that so many idols covering bigbang’s song but end up not nearly good enough for VIP to be satisfied. Ikon, winner and treasure however, can make a good justice to Bigbang’s songs. This probably to their training that make their pronunciation to certain words is different from other trainees in diff agency. Somi explained well back then the comparison between’s jyp and yg method in singing. Its also the same in rapping. Changbin and felix have same heavy bass tone for rapping but I dont think they can gave a good comparison to Top’s rap. Meanwhile bobby and haruto eventho its not as heavy as them, due to the pronounciation and how they voicing out certain words, they really gave a justice to TOP’s part. Thus the reason why only YG artist that can cover another YG artist.
