Question for your rail car video , why is it you leave the air couplers connected when disconnecting cars , is it because even though you shut off the valves there’s still air , also doesnt that damage the connections
The connectors are designed to be "broken" away from. The reason you leave all the air line valves open on the cars you are leaving behind is so that that part of the train goes into "emergency" and there is no chance of an unintentional release of the air brakes.
Where can I get one of those?
I have one question why do some trains go into emergency and how does the car connection break what causes it to snap
