Does this mean that the whole DJ set is prerecorded?
No, you can actually see it is not pre recorded. And you can see when the DJ is choosing the tracks and cuing them in. When you're familiar with DJing and the workflow how it works these days on Pioneer equipment it is pretty clear. The DJs bring their music on a USB stick that they plug into the players. When they load a track it will show a visualized waveform of the song, where you can see where the bass is, and the melody and when the drop comes etc. Exactly a mirror of what you can see here on this screen. The screen shows the waveform of 4 different players that are on the stage. With that software and that screen the guy in charge of the light can peek on the screen so they can prepare the light show for the drop a few seconds in advance. It is also possible, that they load in a video that is meant to be played in sync with the song. This is how it works on some shows, where they show the live lyrics on the screen while the DJ is playing life. Reminds me so much about the old school 90s days with this event. But when I saw the crowd, I was not surprised. It's mostly oldschoolers so I'm not surprised they are not using phones but actually enjoy dancing and feeling the music with the DJ. How to create a successful event in 2024? Inviting in Silver Foxes!

@@datschboerger, ofc you will need at least one camera so the rest of the crowd can enjoy ;) we had also cameramen back in the days but they had huge cameras though :D
@@StayReal02 Yeah... I am aware. I used to carry bulky digital cams too with crappy microphones. You can see the result of that in my oldest posts from a long time ago. It is amazing how capable phones have become. In Particular in recording the audio on this loud environment.

reeally? someone still likes trance in 2024? i mean, with the world's decadence I was not expecting a crowd dancing to an angelical type of music genre, i mean you can put trance music in a large festival but the crowd is there because of the other genres that are being played, not because of trance music, like tomorrowland and giuseppe ottaviani
This was a very underground event. Look at the crowd though, I'm not surprised why they are the best crowd: Full of oldschoolers hardcore trance fans from the 90s. I didn't see any Zoomers there. Most of this crowd is Gen X and Millenials.
