Unmei 2010 vs 2013 - Kuroshitsuji Musical 2
Which is your favorite? I personally will always consider the original my favorite but I love the other two, I just feel like I'm watching four very different characters LOL and that's ok!! I just love seeing the different interpretations side by side.
I considered putting subtitles but I figured subs for this song are pretty easy to find on youtube, and I didn't want it to take away from the video itself by adding subs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The 2013 Eric expression looks like he is horrified, and or realises something, or maybe it could be rage the way his eyes widen and his voice is breathy which is a sign of being horrified; compared to 2010 Eric, in which his voice is hoarse from crying, and his voice feels as if he is defeated than terrified of Sebastian. In a way.. he definitely has made his decision to kill himself if Alan die before him. Im not sure which Eric does it better lol but I grew up with 2010 ver BUT if its horrified expression you're looking for it's definitely 2013 Eric :)

I've always felt 2010's Alan and Eric had better on stage chemistry and that always leads me to enjoy their run more. Neither set of actors did a bad job in my mind, but there's just something that feels stiff in 2013. That could easily be a cultural differences though, and isn't really a complaint. It just leads me like Shinya and Saeki's performances more.
