The actual problem is the region setting. Mine was set on Asia, I changed it to North America and everything worked fine. Just for a plus I changed the antenna to automatic.

I've owned some pretty expensive gun vaults with electronic locks, and they've all presented access issues at some point. I've been switching over to Simplex; so far I have a solid steel tactical trunk and locking wall mount for my Mossberg. They're actually faster than punching a code into most electronic safes. Definitely gonna look into the StrikeBox.

Recently just bought an android stereo and ran into same problem. Instead of going on here I was messing around on the setting and found a possible fix. Go to Radio, go to the radio settings, there should be a antenna setting. Click on antenna setting and set it to open. Default on the setting is closed. Set it to open and you should get your sound without splicing your wiring. Let me know if that worked for anyone else.

I also have a 2019 Durango & so far, there is no water damage. I took an alternative approach to sealing the light bar & taillights. I used silicon and applied a bead along the seam where the lights joined the metal body. Prior to applying the silicon, I applied blue masking tape. This give me about a 1/4" caulking gap. Now I applied the silicon. I applied a heavy bead, and then used my finger to press & push the silicon bead into this seam. Waited about 10 minutes, then removed the tape. Silicon seam looks tight & is not visible. What's good or bad about my solution? We use this solution for tubs, showers & sinks & it works there.

We have a couple of lockboxes in each of our vehicles. They attach to the seat mounts just like this gun box. We use them when we can't take our guns into a prohibited (there shouldn't be any prohibited places but thats another story) place. When driving, we have "driving holsters" from Azula. They make high quality holsters at very good prices. The driving holster goes on your belt in the front and are basically horizontal rather than vertical. I believe they call the seated holsters.
