It’s good to keep a Suica card. But I Definitely recommend the 72 hours Free Metro card if you are in Tokyo. Stayed in Tokyo for 10 days in July… Travelled extensively around the city. The metro card was a game changer. Since as tourists we tend to cover many stops in a day, the metro card more than pays for itself. A slight caveat: the metro card is worthwhile ONLY for Tokyo. Suica card is the way to go if u r also travelling to other cities, such as Kyoto where you will be travelling very less by trains and mostly by busses.

50 minutes is a bit long haha. You can reach Zaanse Schans from Amsterdam Centraal in less than 30 minutes. Its 17 minutes with the train from Amsterdam Centraal to Station Zaandijk Zaanse Schans (train to Uitgeest), then you’ll only have to walk for another 12 minutes or so.
