I agree, the Presage version offers just a little more than a sapphire Chrystal for a lot more money. The SSA231K1 was my first automatic mechanical and no regrets at all. I think the 24 hour dial is fairly useless but adds to the look, and the dial would not look as good without it.

I have this watch. It's a little thick at 13.5mm and only has a mineral chrystal. Scratch magnet. Otherwise a lovely watch.

At Altitude, these watches then to run very fast. Have a watchmaker correct this. They still tend to be about 5 Seconds fast a day. But for the 65Eu I paid for mine (used with a horrid strap), there's no complaints on this one. The wife is also rather "feel" for this one since she loves the design and nicks it on occasion for an every-day carry.

For this price I don't think there's an open heart mechanical watch from a reputable company I was originally thinking of buying a seiko 5 just to get into mechanical watches but den I got this watch recommended and ur clearly getting a lot more by paying more the design of this watch to me personally feel even better den seiko presage

what is the lug to lug measure of this watch?

Is it hackable and can it be hand wound?
